Thank you so much for this, as this has been on my radar for a long time.I have plans to live there for a while in about 2 years from now. and still may questions, concerning taxes, etc, but have learning very much. I hope to have this ready to recommend to my society one day soon.

The Tax is only 20% meaning, if you get payed 1000€ you only have to give 200€ to the government. You don't have to do the payment yourself, we have these people who do it for you

People like to show off eatonia as this super e-country. But to be honest as an estonian myself thats not really the case. Estonians are very close to their nateure and care about their living space. Thats why we keep our cities more or less clean. Many may not know this but 50% of estonia is made up of forest. And trust me when i say we are very protective of our forests.

So when China is making something like that (digital systems), western media are crying for lack of privacy and dystopian world, but when a European country is doing the same, everyone is happy. In fact, I think it's great and actually, I don't believe in privacy, especially online, nowadays. Anyway, Estonia is great and it's so cool they've managed to fully recover after Soviet period. Well done!

Not surprised, we have all of that in Saudi Arabia. Almost everything can be done online. For example, if someone find a Crack in the asphalt, he or she can simply use an app (municipality app) and take a picture, add location and it will be fixed within 48 hrs, this is just one example of hundreds of services that are available online.

@Lukaku's First Touch I give you example how powerful WEST is. 2014 sanctioned Russia and til then Russia have negative-1,9% GDP growth. China another hand have 75% of trading partners in Western countrys and earn big money because we have high income citizens and we buy lot of China products and offer lots of jobs to China people. If WEST started to ban China, high likely China 7% GDP growth drops that level there Russia have now.

Its an important progress and this country have different and significant firms. Thus they can do online things for its citizen. But it doesn't seem fit for other big nations which nearly more than 25-30 millions population.

You seem to be. Estonia is in NATO and Putin is hopefully not foolish enough to test NATO's resolve by invading Estonia. On the other hand, NATO would disintegrate if it were not to respond to a Russian invasion. But Putin's obedient trolls are spreading misinformation and stoking fears, that's for sure. There's always the option of creating cyber mischief as well

I would recommend you come if you want to work in IT, the other replies you got about race/religion are petty. Though it will be a little bit harder if you are black or of any other non-white decent (because there simply ain't that many non-whites older people might feel weird about you in the start) or if you follow any religions. Being religious in general is a disadvantage so I hope you are not. All in all if you like to work hard and have a valuable skillset you will do well here! I recommend try to find a job with a startup!

Susssass Thanks for your reply. I am an IT expert (fullstack software developer).. I have my first degree in Physics and I also co-founded a startup company here in my country.. my coming to Estonia is to study for my masters Degree and PhD. All the negative comments I got here didn't move me.. those who don't know my history cannot define me.. I am black and I appreciate been black.
