It's always difficult attempting to imagine a true story for the big screen. Especially one that requires balancing humor, a serious subject matter, and motion capture to boot! But if there was any crew that could tackle it, it's the amazing cast that Robert Zemeckis has put together for his new film "Welcome to Marwen."
To put this entire vision together, the movie recruits the talents ofSteve Carell, Leslie Mann, Janelle Monáe, and Diane Kruger. The four talented actors were kind enough to sit down for an episode of Moviefone's signature series "Unscripted," where they talked shop and gave us a sneak peak of how amazing they can all be when they share the screen.
From start to finish, the "Marwen" team oscillated from uproarious laughter to insightful artistic discussion. Topics discussed include working with motion capture technology, the real secret to preparing for a role (hint: it's bananas), and what it means to leave a legacy.
"Welcome to Marwen" also stars Merritt Wever, Eiza González, Gwendoline Christie, Leslie Zemeckis and comes to theaters December 21st, 2018.

Just saw the movie today...it...was...AMAZING!!! Although I’m a huge fan of Steve Carell, I haven’t seen too many of his dramatic performances, but I have to believe that this is one of his BEST ones! Sad that he was snubbed by the Golden Globes this year!!!

Just saw the movie and it was simply amazing and beautiful. Dont know why the low rating score though. I love his dolls and attention to detail of the real Marwencol as I am a toy figure collector myself.

They all say she’d be a good director, she responds with “oh thank you I love you guys”, as a “aaw you’re just being kind”, so the natural response then was to say “no really”, as in “no really, I’m not just being kind, I really think you’d be a great director”. There really wasn’t any room for misunderstanding here.

@7:45 - Janelle seems like she's tryna throw a little shade at Steve and men for that matter about their not being a lot of women directors in the industry and that she wants to take on the power role of directing men.
