The last thing I ran in Mystara was using Savage Worlds and oh boy. The seed was planted and 2 of my old friends, may be joining with 2 other more to continue our 1989 BECMI campaign (no savage worlds this time) Took some time but we are going back bb!

I love how complicated and nationalistic the Church of Thyatis is. Also, Mr. Welch didn’t mention this but Petipa has another identity: Hera. She’s one of the Immortals in Wrath of Olympus who decided to impersonate an actual goddess.

Thanks for the link to Book 2 of the Codex Immortalis PDF. When I lost my external drive, it was one I had yet to replace (Book 1 is another). One day I might use a PoD service for both. Would love to see a 5E version one day.

Vastly different, with a trimmed down list of Immortals. Karameikos has a focus on personal responsibility and avoidance of sin. Thyatis is pushing you more to follow the path of the ideal Thyatian.

You could just take notes from his video, then take his comments, & you shouldn't need to keep asking questions. Karameikos has 2 churches & a cult. The church of Karameikos, the church of Traladara, & the cult of Halav. Each has different beliefs. The church of Karameikos is the one that is similar, but different to Thyatis' church. Try searching GAZ1 The Grand Duchy of Karameikos or Karameikos Kingdom of Adventure, or even an Internet search for more details.
