lol Im loving Pax dei. Love you to Josh but I doubt it will be your cup of tea. Its a sandbox mmo way more then a survival game. Its not 7 days to die. Its super grindy. Thats one of the many things I love about it. The crafting progression is super satisfying as well as the exploration. Just takes a little while. Im finally into the iron stuff and it felt so good getting there. Love the content. I hope you keep going but im doubting you will sadly.

65 bucks and then there will be a monthly subscription as well ,Very similar to Life is Fuedal ,just with better graphics.

Early resource gathering seems like quite the grind in this game if you aren't in the perfect spot. Agree with Josh that the online aspect might make it tedious similar to Rust because far too many people (mostly kids) just act like morons who can't stop themselves trying to ruin the experience of others. Also Valheim is so much better when you mod it to take metal through portals. Doesn't make sense anyhow since you can take metal tools/weapons through portals. Outside of the hardness seeming balanced very much for multi player, the resource transporting was the most painful part of Valheim. Enshrouded seemed to do that decently, but has plenty of its own issues mostly around combat and oddly limited building even though you can build with single blocks (needed angled placement). And I could only get a little into Nightingale with all the bugs/issues it had at launch.

This games pricing is a joke. $65Aus for Poverty pack edition up to $160Aus for a few visual recipes and 4 plots instead of 1. Because it''s a MMO and not MMORPG they've made it extra grindy to instil a sense of content. It's a basically a UE5 world and nothing else. They couldn't even give us an Oceanic server. I was looking forward to it but not now. Thanks @JaWoodle for taking one for the team. Much appreciated mate.

This reminds me how much I appreciate the full destructability of 7 Days to Die.

Only way to do a survival multiplayer (Unless you want to spend all of your time grinding) is to set up your own server. Might set one up and invite your Patreons to join? But then you can adjust gather rates to spend less time grinding and more time crafting and adventuring.

65 dollars, i assume is in Aussie fun bux. I'm pretty much by default a no on modern mmos and usually anything bolted onto an mmo suffers in terms of systems for the sake of balance and artificial slowdowns. Then many of the companies put in pay to win or a cosmetic cash shop on top of a full price game. I'm not into that.

I I was interested at first when I heard about this game. And I probably would have picked it up today but when I went to the steam page and saw that it starts at $40 and then that it intended to be a monthly subscription. It was a no-go for me. In my opinion all of the above the price and the subscription would be valid if it was proven and had the substance to follow through. Such as ESO. They can do this successfully because they have years of a track record. I feel they have shot themselves in the foot by setting these price points in their EA release. If anything they should have been free or half of the cost until they release and then they could go right into their subscription. There is no way I would pay these prices. And then I don't know what kind of lives people have that they want to be punished in games like this game. How is it enjoyable for you to play games to spend real minutes walking anywhere? Why not go outside and walk? I play games to have fun this type of MMO that's incredibly punishing and grinding is not fun. I feel like if people had a life a girlfriend a job something they wouldn't be able to torment themselves 22 hours in a day with this game.

Typical MMO. Just grind heavy af. Good for someone with friends but bad for singleplayers. But looks nice overall. Thanks for showing Josh.

Watched Asmongold play this, built a huge castle settlement on and around a huge mountain. Looked awesome. However, he had hundreds of people building it for him from his community. Solo is pointless in this game.

This game has a lot of potential, but it's a hard fucking pass with an always-on MMO where you buy the game AND pay a monthly sub AND you shit's not protected AND griefers are already organizing. If I want to play EvE in a forest, I'll take my laptop into the woods. Mainframe Industries and New Tales are on my shit-list right up there with Take 2 and Paradox.

Kinda boring as far as a game for videos. I think it looks great as a survival in the wilderness. Even the grind is nice for this kind of game. It is just survival so far... that isn't supposed to be easy.
