Tom Lawrence is a 28 year old Forward who can play as a winger or as an attacking playmaker. He is available on a free after the expiration of his Derby contract. Rangers are one of the many teams interested in the Welshman and according to reports Rangers will be the team to sign him.

As others have said, nothing to lose since he would sign on a free. From this video it looks like he's good at scoring from distance which is something the existing squad is lacking in.

All the makings of a great signing. Comfortable with both feet. Score from distance. Not afraid to take players on. Decent age. And looks fiesty enough for our league. Good luck to the boy. I reckon we actually have the players allready, capable of winning the league this season. That European run last season took a hell of a lot out of us. Past 3 times a Scottish team has reached final of a European competition.......they have lost the league. Its obviously tough. Having less games from Europe woulda benefited that manky mob last season. Choking for season to start. Get the points in the bag leading up to september the 3rd a think we play them? Personally I think it’s a steal he’s an exceptional player available for free. A welsh international and can play on the right hand side which we need!

@@RangersDubai It is great business from Rangers I am 100% Confident in a great season ahead I am really happy about the 3 players so far as they are all focused on strong tough players who can all score goals which is needed but they all do the basics very well. I like the idea of picking up Bongonda and I think we could get him for around 4 million even though he's quoted at 6 Million. He can play both wings which we all now we really need. If we hit the ground running we will have a Unbelievable Season ❤🤍💙

My only concern about this transfer is if he is still as good as this video shows then why was it only us and Sheffield United that were in for him especially on a free transfer?

@@RangersDubai yeah interested was having a look but never offered him a contract only showed interest also I'm surprised that no EPL midtable to bottom of the table teams didn't show interest or offeres especially as he was a free transfer. WATP 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Glad we got him after speaking to a mate from Derby but can't help think where does this leave Hagi/Lowry ? Imo Hagi should be played in that CAM role behind the strikers and we've rarely seen him there. Now it looks he'll be papped out to the right again in games when we need to fill a body on the right, ignoring the blatant fact we need a reliable, natural RW/RM.

It would be nice to get excited, and thanks for the video, but the welsh charlatan has killed any joy I can feel about a Rangers signing. Sands, Diallo and the welsh charlatan added/have added NOTHING to Rangers. Lawrence and Colak both LOOK potentially very positive signings...lets' see.....

@@brianharley6452 he was never going to pick Sheffield United over Rangers mate but I am a bit concerned that it only seemed to be us Rangers and just Sheffield United that's showed proper interest in him and no other clubs especially EPL clubs especially as he was available on a free transfer.
