So you're going to play World of Warcraft, eh? Choosing the Alliance faction? Well my friend, get ready for an adventure unlike anything you've experienced before. From roleplayers in the Cathedral District, to WoW gamers jumping off of ledges, even to the secrets that lay beneath the - this video will teach you everything you need to know to survive in the Alliance capital of Stormwind city. If you're new to World of Warcraft, than this video is perfect for YOU!
This video was a part of a collection of projects that Nixxiom intended to make called the "Welcome to..." series. In this series, Nixxiom would introduce players to various faction cities around Azeroth, from Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Undercity, and more. Unfortunately, this series never made it past this single episode. There is still hope however! Since returning to making World of Warcraft machinima, Nixxiom has expressed an interest in continuing this WoW series. Only time will tell however!

Nah, everyone knows the greatest mightiest city of the Alliance is really Ironforge, home and bastion of the Dwarves. Let me tell ye laddie, don’t pay those weird Humans of Stormwind any mind. True Alliance members hang out here doing lots of drinking, dancing, and singing with every day ending with glorious feasting by roaring fires and singing forges. The Pig and Whistle was an ERP den? When? I'm from Moon Guard and the Whistling Piggy is always either empty or have a hand full of "criminal" RPers just kind of sitting around. Though, all the bullshit nobility and guard guilds hanging out aroud the Cathedral District is painfully accurate. A lot of RPers who take themselves too seriously and huff their own farts can be found at the Cathedral District. The best place to RP is the Mage District and Lion's Rest. Trade District is just people who are actually playing the game and the Dwarven District is basically empty, the same goes for Old Town.

For real warcraft's qorld was built with such detail, such amazing and intricate depth and design, I love its world and its cultures and people but by God do I loathe what the game itself has become....
