You'll never guess how my pockets emptied today. Edit: After playing some, I've noticed something. You can actually cancel the Defend Order given to your skellies by just pressing Right Click with the Icon of Death out. Along with that, Dread Seneschal (the level 30 talent that gives 50% extra health and damage) also gives 3 skeletons with Shields, and 3 skeletons with two-handed hammers. Attack orders made after you've placed a Defend order will actually only cause the three with hammers to charge like Foot Knight. The charge also goes through enemies that are not the target, so target the other end of the horde for maximum pain train. (The cooldown for said charge is when the finish the animation, so go ham)

What lore implications? Many wizards turned to necromancy during the end times. That IS lore.

A tip - think of your skelly boi's as utility more than offense. They do a very small amount of damage (about 1-1.5 dmg to a target dummy without buffs) meaning even if you give them a 100% boost they will only hit for around 3 each. Their real utility is that they can take a lot of hits and they give LOTS of stagger. Combine that with barrow blades and they will make it so you do 20% damage to more or less all targets near you (allowing you to more easily use your weapons without having to worry about igniting enemies) for talents I recommend going 113122. Smiter will be your biggest dps boost since Necro will rely a lot on her scythe with her staff more for sniping and bosses. The staff has great breakpoints so enhanced power won't be near the dps boost of smiter. Cursed blood has amazing synergy with barrow blades, and when you get used to the weapons and take very few hits (and Kerillian isn't on your team) curse of the undeath will make you close to immortal. With the scythe's amazing cleave (seriously no need for the cleave talent) the your ability cooldown wont be too long and you can recast every time your curse of undeath gets removed. For weapons the default necromancer weapons are extremely fun and have amazing synergy for her. I have attack speed and crit on her scythe. Get for trash clear and even armored enemies. The staff is amazing at tearing the souls from monsters, specials and even chaos warriors and blackrats. Though it never hurts to toss a few of the small bouncing projectiles into a horde. I have chaos damage and monster damage on the scythe.

I'd like to note that despite the DOT of her flames lasting twice as long, the way ticks work actually makes her DOT do half the amount of damage; only slightly higher than half due to the "20% more damage from all sources" debuff (which only works for sienna and her skeletons anyways).

that 80% reduced damage on the next 3 hits not having a timer is pretty cool, feel like you could make a cool tanky scythe crit build and mostly ignore the burns and skellies if you wanted to. excited to mess around with goofy builds!

If only Darktide has this MUCH character to their characters but nope. Its as bland as they come. If the players we play in darktide have names, regardless if they're expendable, you can,say the same thing for the ubersreik 5 as they're just as expendable in the grand scheme of things
