2. Yes, I am planning on making additional commune videos!❤️
3. These were bizarre to review. So much has happened since I made these videos, and I’ve grown a lot as an artist and as a person. I’m resisting the urge to comment on them beyond that, but I think they still stand up in a lot of ways, and I hope you will at least enjoy some nostalgia.
4. Reminder that there is a brief segment of backwards talking sound effects in the second part, and some people have found that distressing. It starts at about the 52:30 mark, in case you want to avoid it.
5. I want to address the fact that I wouldn’t make the Part I Kool-Aid reference/joke today. At the time, I had been thinking of the general “drinking the Kool-Aid” phrase that people have used to describe cultish behavior, and not of the actual events that lead to the popularization of that phrase. I’ve grown to be more thoughtful about my humor over the years, and I hope to continue that throughout my life. I thought it was funny then, I don’t think it’s funny now, and I wanted to acknowledge that, especially for any of you who might be bothered by it. (This is not related to the completely different Kool-Aid reference in Part III, which I still stand behind.)

For one split second I did think it was a new one and my heart soared. But then realized immediately that it was a combo of the old ones in the same way you did the ear exams... and my heart soared, because now I only have to search for one video and click play once to enjoy all of these masterpieces. This is my favorite series. Just the hippy vibe, and nobody ran away after all these tests is so much fun. It relaxed me so much I’d fall asleep five minutes in, (and that’s a miracle), and I’d have to watch the rest the next day. Love it!

These have always been some of my favorite's of your JB. My current headcannon is that the found footage video is how the listener finds out about the commune, and the one you did in the car/garage is a runner helping the listener reach the commune, like there's multiple esoteric groups trying to get their hands on special people, and the commune is a safe haven that teaches them how to use their gifts.

This was the first series that popped up for me for your channel way back when and I’ve always gone back to it and your channel ever since. Although I know/respect that you’re not comfortable/some viewers aren’t comfortable with the Kool Aid joke, honestly I really do think it’s funny and I know it’s meant to be subversive. It’s only a character you’re playing; I think context is important for these kinds of jokes. I’ve always really loved this series and have found it comforting, relaxing, and entertaining! Much love. 1:38:30 I FORGOT ABOUT THE PREDATOR SOUNDS. Ugh I love it and... how do you even do that? I love the compilation idea. It gives a really cool coninuity aspect to your roleplays that I really enjoy. Honestly, your commune videos almost tell a story that isn't told and I really like that about your videos when you get into the roles. (side note I would 100% help you produce a full length film if you ever want to do one) Very vew people can do storytelling that hints at a larger picture like that and so I wanted to give you some much due praise. It feels like you're acting out part of a book. I can hardly believe it's been 7 years since I first heard you on here. I'm actually curious about something if you have a minute. Do you ever think about how so many people are familiar with your voice? I mean, if I saw you on the street I'd want to give you a hug, but that's probably a common feeling. I am not sure what the ASMR community would be like without you in it, and frankly I don't want to know. Much love, JB. You're the best.

There's something about the unsettling nature of them combined with the cranial nerve exam variation that just hits my ASMR like a truck, they are probably my favourite triggers. If I could make a suggestion, you could start Part Five of the Commune Video with the doctor apologizing for forgetting we were in the semi-isolation hut for five years. Then a simple examination followed by allowing us to join the rest of the commune. If pressed for an explanation just say she got a bad cup of vision tea and forgot everything that happened for the last few years. BTW, the Commune videos have given me a lot of blissful sleep during the COVID era. Thank you very much.
