And when will happen that developers give new expansions as rewards for gigantic efforts like GB leveling, all GE levels done, GBg won at 1st place, or whatever effort we do? I'm out of tech expansions, honor expansions, and even diamond expansions. Everything they give is stuff to build, but no place where to build them. I'm tired of this search for excuses to invest diamonds in new buildings, but place to set them up... 😡😡😡

I've read some feedback on forums and it seems to me that to finaly quit game (after 5 years on 2 worlds) will be much easier decision to me now.

I look forward to the challenge, this being perhaps the biggest change in the game in years. GBG has been around 3 years with minimal changes, hardly anyone even plays GVG, and many guilds are still very competitive in GE so maybe this will help separate the hardcore players from the wannabe's out there. I think Inno should add a new counter for how many times a guild wins under the "new" system and offer prizes on the 5th level that are fair given the added difficulty, perhaps even finally changing the guild ranking structure to include more points from GE given so few still bother with GVG. It's amazing how many complain over any innovations made to keep the game fresh, more people leave because it doesn't change than over things like this. Those who have focused all their resources to play a single aspect of the game like GBG can get with the times or fall behind, Inno really needs to revamp the entire defense aspect of the game. I am a mid level player with decent attack stats and I can auto fight using troops 3 and 4 levels below my neighbors, winning virtually every time. What does that tell you about defense in the game? I suggest Inno also nerf how much defense works in the rest of the game as well as boost GBs like the Deal Castle to give more incentive to players, perhaps even randomizing attack numbers against higher level defenses to make the game more strategic when it comes to the credit card players.

All good, but we badly need space for building all these. Many event buildings are yet to be built in my city. I've also had to take down partially built Gb's to make way for some event bldgs. So think about providing space first.

You go from the fiery volcanos back to a lush jungle. A bit anti-climactic I'd say. With the added defence mechanic, I'm afraid its not going to feel like GE anymore, but lets see.

I for one welcome more stuff to do in GE which is my favorite part of the game. I guess people playing 50 worlds won't like it, farmers be mad

Not really getting a warm fuzzy oh boy I can't wait for this feeling. Seems like an unnecessary change, why not just add another level, instead you add something else I got to screw around with, more buildings that I probably don't want, avatars, my god people I got avatars coming out my you know where.

The required defensive measures for a player has made this new 5th level untenable for most players. I was also told the so called "TEMPLE" ( if you are able to earn it) will only remain in your city for 28 days and it disappears ---if that's accurate, I believe FOE has made a grave error..

Ich habe nicht vor noch mehr Lebenszeit diesem Spiel zu opfern! Dann fliegt noch eine Stadt raus oder ich höre gleich ganz auf. Je nachdem wie Aufwändig die Sache wird. Dieses Patricks Day Event ist mir vom Aufwand schon auf die Nerven gegangen. Klein aber fein ist besser...man muß nicht immer noch eins drauf setzen. Das Spiel ist nicht mehr schön, es ist eine Morgentliche hetze um fertig zu werden mit allem wo man draufklicken soll. MACHT KEIN SPASS MEHR!!! 😞

Don't need more buildings as these are beginning to outweigh expansions, keep the attack theme of GE and increase the rewards, such as diamonds, switching to defence is daft as most of us keep this to a minimum as it takes away from space for attack build, will probably give GE a miss if this goes ahead in format mooted

I like the new addition and the switch to city defense....adds depth to the game that so many players have failed to fully realize and have solely focused on attacking %...it will change players strategies when selecting event buildings if different choices are available, Great Buildings they may have deemed non relevant etc. And like GE lvl 4 it will be progressive...fight for a certain amount and negotiate the rest if possible...while I do find the the progressive opposing armies attk % extreme it should bring some longevity to the new lvl.

Not getting the warm fuzzies about changing game balance. Defense has been worthless for so long, it's simply not used. Now you make it an important aspect? I'll need to build other GBs and whatnot with space being at a premium. Maybe time to abandon my top place guild and become a laid-back player instead of spending $160+ every event. 😢 My wallet thanks you.

Personne ne va changer sa cité et s'assoir sur +3000% att def. Pareil pour les ressources il parait que ça coute un bras. Pour l'instant les Betas testeurs sont très déçus des récompenses, ils disent que ça vaut pas le coup, pareil pour le GM qui soit disant aurait une durée de vie limitée. Bref c'est bien d'essayer d'apporter des nouveautés mais si ça n'a pas de réels intérêts pour les cités déjà bien avancés pas grand monde s'y intéressera un peu comme le tour jcj. J'ai l'impression que vous voulez trouver un sens à la défense de cité, c'est pas gagné.

This is really a good idea. Using defensive army to defend these positions feels like a good move. The new buildings are incredible...the only thing I wish is that they simply upgraded level 2 buildings to 3 (ie. Sacred Sky Watch, etc.), but that is really minor. Everything else about this feels right.

in my opinion, a hopeless idea .... each player was focused mainly on % attack (1000-2000+) no one thought about defense ... who will want to rebuild entire cities now .. profitable "to place in the city + construction costs of defensive buildings are unlikely to be low + there are still fields of glory that draw TONS of resources, rather everyone prefers to pay this resource to the treasury and have camps so that the resistance grows less .... lvl 4 always ends with the army. ..5 lvl I will check only out of curiosity

A lots of players will stop playing. My 2 cents about it. 2 hard and no fun. Just struggle!

Based on what I have seen on the Beta server. This new level of GE will cause two things primarily. One, Guilds will not open it do to most guilds being GbG focused and most if not all their members will not be able to complete it. Two, most players who have for years built their cities, mine included, to get the most out of GbG. Making sure that their attacking army attack is as high as possible to still be able to fight with high levels of attrition. Will not delete nearly half their city to balance attacking army stats and defensive army stats. Thus leading to a aspect of the game that will go unused. I personally will not be taking part in GE5 till there is a pretty major change to how it is balanced, the strength of the foes forces in SAJ is FAR to high for even me to beat if I had my attacking army stats at my disposal. 1441%att 1233%def with tavern boosts and a 20% pot active if you are wondering. The rewards look ok. I would personally put them down for ascetic reasons, as I built my city to look like a city and not min max it. Nor will I ever min max it. Over all my thoughts on GE5 can be summed up as this. Needs a lot of reworking before its good enough to put on the live servers. I hope that you take this criticism well and not just ignore it. well done Inno, always find way to destroy the game, for start the fortifications doesnt even make sense, spend more to save less in goods and gain boost that is either to low compare to the defense or doesnt matter because already our defense is garbage! City defense is aspect of the game that 0.001% of people care, this will not help to gain interest, garbage update!

I don't like how Inno continues to steal back space that many of us have paid for. If Inno wants to force us to use city defense then why don't they give us more space? I fought hard and have spent money to to use the space I get for attack and defense in GBG. Now they want us to pull it out to use for city defense? Again another unfair and underhanded change from an already known greedy server
