As a soccer fan (Crystal Palace) who’s an American, I did fall in love with the show Welcome to Wrexham. Everyone is very like able and down to earth. I’m happy for their community.

Next time your in wrexham you need to drive 20 mins up the road to Llangollen. Amazing castle dinas bran, also the viaduct is the largest in the world and the village in the welsh valleys is beutifull

The building you feature at the end might not actually be Tudor, Chris. There are many building in Britain that have the timber frame and white plaster style that were built or modified into that style which date from well after that period.

I am over the moon, that you went to my hometown of Wrexham and went to see my favourite team. Nice! Thank you for coming over and filming Wrexham. Croeso i Wrecsam, ctoes i Gymru a Diolch yn Fawr. I look forward to seeing more of your content.

I would love to travel to the UK and Europe one day, especially on one of your group trips VTH! You’re an inspiration in so many ways. I’m going to be a social studies teacher, and you’ve given me many fun facts to share with my future students. I’m also certain I’ll be using many of your videos in my classes.

Alot of ups & downs supporting a football team Southend United fan here. Its nice to see other nationalities enjoying British culture, we’re very much malinged nowadays.

Sounds like a good time, my local team as a kid that i'll always support is Aston Villa, but my father and his side of the family is from Bradford so ive a soft spot for them. Love that you were made to feel welcome, hope you enjoy Birmingham I'd have loved to go to the meet up but i'm working in Latvia for the next couple months

Loved the vlog. I'm new to the channel, so I'm not sure if you've ever been there, but if you like history and lower leagues football, the *actual* oldest continually used football stadium, Sandygate in Sheffield. It's a full 60 years older than the racecourse ground and home to a club called Hallam FC (who strangely are only the second oldest club in the city of Sheffield). It's really cool to visit this humble non-league football ground that has memorabilia donated by Maradona and the like on their clubhouse walls lol.

love the content, just a small correction. they bought the club not just the team
@Taffycox3 ай бұрын
Just a very significant correction. They were gifted the Club by the fans.
@sedii913 ай бұрын
@@Taffycox I don't have a lot of knowledge about Wrexham's club affairs itself, however calling them acquiring the team is drastically different in my opinion than them buying or being gifted.
@Taffycox3 ай бұрын
@@sedii91 not quite sure how you can confuse “buying” with “gifted” and then bring in the word “acquiring”, but hey ho……..However, it is not uncommon for people to assume that they bought the Club as the media propagate this misconception in their reporting. And, just for the record, in UK sports, the use of the term “team” and “Club” are interchangeable.
@sedii913 ай бұрын
@@Taffycox like I said, I have no idea how they managed to get their hands on the club so my apologizies on that part (not a Wrexham fan, just like the history dude). also that is news to me in UK team and club is same as in english language they are not the same, thanks for the information then :)

Ok, so we now know it's Football, next word to learn is "Diving" as in voluntarily propelling oneself to the floor, not Flop, as in a complete failure! And while I'm here, this verticle pass that is all the rage in Murica. You do realise that "verticle" is up and down and horizontal is left to right, right? So this pass that you call verticle is really a diagonal pass, from the right, up the pitch to the left or vice versa. A verticle pass would be straight up in the air! Another phrase I heard on a video was a "Free Corner Kick Pass". 😟
