• Seri is a biologist-in-training with an intense passion for plants and filling her house to the brim with finches, potted plants, and biology "specimens" that look oddly like snail shells, mossy, and twigs covering every available surface.
She is also big into spreading her love of the natural world through the entertaining medium of story-telling through video games! Jump on in and see what our amazing, animal-loving, plant-studying community is all about! And remember, stay curious! •

0:42 is so cute. I found birds in the airport when I went to Hawaii. They would go in and out through the sliding doors!!

Ann Arbor is sooo beautiful!! I looked it up on Google, but the pictures didn't really do it justice so I was worried it might not be as green as you were hoping for, but it's clearly the opposite! xD I live in a city referred to as "The Garden City" but it's really lackluster when you actually come to visit. I'm sure my city was once beautiful and lived up to the name a long time ago, but now it's quite an eyesore. I really hope you end up getting the house you want, Seri! And those squirrels are SO cute, especially the little black one!! If only we had them in Australia!

this spring where I live, I haven't seen much squirrels but there are more jackrabbits around than I have ever seen before. I think i've already seen 6 jackrabbits

oh, our Alliums already bloomed :/ :D this year they were quite tall :D

last year we had only one in front of the house and two in the back garden :D now they're everywhere and grew almost 150 centimeters tall! :P so like 60-61 inches tall :P I hove they grow even bigger next year :D good luck getting them :D

Oh gosh it still feels weird for me to see someone flying by plane to get to somewhere in the same country! :P so used to driving everywhere in the UK! Hope the area and housing you find will be perfect for you, I know it can be really hard to find somewhere that just feels ''right", but I'm sure you'll spend many happy years in Ann Arbor!! :D

Rhys Williams +JacksonAK! Pixel Ranger Ahaha meanwhile in the UK, we just bundle all our stuff into the boot of the car and drive to wherever we need :P even if we're going to mainland Europe, half the time we just get a ferry over to France!

It's kinda weird to know you're only going to live like 30 mintute a from where I live. You should go to the Belle Isle Conservatory and the Detroit Institute of Art. Is Chips going to be working at U of M? Have fun in Michigan!

I live in the central part of North Carolina right now, but this is up in Ann Arbor, Michigan where we are getting ready to move in August! :D I see squirrels, rabbits, and birds on a regular basis but chipmunks are uncommon in the part of NC we live in - we used to see them a lot when we lived in the mountains! But I also get excited over anoles too - which are so, so common and absolutely everywhere in the south. For me, its not so much about the rarity of the animals, but that they are there and so fascinating to look at!!

+Seri's Greenhouse I love stuff like that too (bunnies!!!🐰 I have a problem with watching rabbits) I know you are hoping to go on many more small vacation type things, and when you move to Ann Arbor, I have a recommendation! There is this place in central Ohio (not far from Columbus) I had a blast there! It could be a mini road trip to the Columbus zoo and the wilds thewilds.columbuszoo.org where you can take a bus or zip line over a free range type zoo.

That would be SO fun!! Chips and I plan on doing a lot of adventuring and traveling to discover new places after we get moved!!

oh wow thats great. its only been a few months for me. Wish I was a vegan sooner but I love the lifestyle and its so many amazing foods that we can make as a vegan.

Oh yeah its so easy now that I've lived vegan for a couple years! It used to feel so impossibly hard and like I was cut off at every angle with trying to find/make/eat food, but now its so easy I can't think of why I'd bother eating otherwise! :D
