And to think I started my grey hair transition just 21 short months ago. It's time for me to let my silver hair shine....and I'm contemplating getting my final going grey haircut. What should I do?

Happy Birthday -- I am a July baby but I will be 58 same day as Linda Ronstandt and Rembrandt (amazing Dutch painter). I am not surprised by your haircut since you said it is important to you to have your hair back. Your Mom so cool. My Grams would talk about the Great Depression and she was very cautious. Now we are learning how important it is to not be wasteful. I CANNOT WAIT FOR POLLUX'S DNA! I am so excited and thank you for giving me such a cool event to look forward to hear in Brooklyn. I am staying home as much as possible to be safe hoping New York continues to keep COVID19 infections down. Some of my friends depending on where they live are back under strict lockdown. If the brown bothers you then cut. It'a juat hair and will grow back. I've trimmed mine 4x since the start of the lockdown and can still put it in a pony tail.

OMG! I went and commented BEFORE I watched the entire video - and there you go - you announced that you actually got the results for Pollux. I almost fell off my chair. I am so excited. Happy Belated Birthday!! 🎂🎁🎈🎉💐 When I got my hair cut last time I told her just leave enough to be able to pull it up in a ponytail. Didn’t have to be a long one, just enough to get it off my neck good. I live in NC so know the heat and humidity well. Plus, when my hair needs washing but there just isn’t time in an emergency you can pull it up and be presentable. Short, it’s crap no matter what. Looking forward to seeing what Pollux is.

Happy Birthday beautiful lady!! My 49th birthday is tomorrow July 15th. I too stopped dying my hair October 2018. I love your style and your gorgeous greys!! My hair was very long when I started my journey and is now shoulder length. I still have many dark patches of hair but eventually i will be chopping it to a funky a-line blunt cut once my greys are more grown in. Happy Birthday, Renee'! I was just going to suggest angling it back because it would soon be driving you crazy! We with curly hair know hair shrinkage and how it will feel right and the next day you HAVE to get to the hairdresser! I have a little 85 yo friend originally from rural Alabama. I LOVE all her Southern colloquialisms! " Spoilt like a ripe peach on a hot day." I'm just informing you I will be stealing, " Taking a Judy!" I'm not going to preface it. I would not cut it just yet..wait for a little more growth. BUT, I personally do not listen to anyone else. I do what I want at this point in my life. I am a little older than you. Renee, you must do what will make you happy. Your hair is gorgeous. The only reason I said to wait, is to be sure you can still put your hair in a pony (when needed). HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Happy belated birthday! My friend celebrates all month for her birthday. I originally found your channel because I was thinking of going gray. I DID IT! I had stopped dyeing my hair hair in February. My hairdresser just opened a new shop by herself, so I felt safe to get it cut. She was able to give me a pixie cut to eliminate all but a smidge of color. I feel liberated. Thanks for helping with my decision.

Hi Renee, happy belated birthday. Glad you had such a lovely time. I’m almost 18 month’s dye free and had my last hair cut end of January. A short layered bob which left me with 2 inches of dyed blonde hair. Then lockdown happened. Hairdressers opened in Wales yesterday. So I’m not sure what to do as I’m enjoying being able to put my hair up. I might make an appointment for a month’s time and finally lose the dyed end’s. Looking forward to finding out what breed’s Pollux has. 😊💜
