Putting those plates on sure beefed that up that won't move in a rush. You did a good job trying for your first time my boss went to school for welding we have build our overhead bin catwalks attachments for our payloader and skid loader and lots of gates for our hog barns hopefully you got some planting done

I would have cut all the cracked plates right off and made new ones out if thicker plate. Its to light.
