Just a question: I’m watching your videos and shorts form long time, all original ideas, well made and easy to replicate. The only thing I never understand is why you weld everything by spot and not continuously like a MAG welder needs to.

@@southernredneck3125 No man, I mean Metal Active Gas welding because I suppose that he’s using a CO2/Ar mix gas to weld iron. The Metal Inert Gas process is better for aluminum for example.

All is kewl till you grind all your weld strength OFF ! If you're planning on grinding smooth, run your grinder down the seam between the two edges to 'V" out the metal. THEN, run a bead down the cavity. This way your weld penetrates and has depth. Surface welding looses most of its strength when you grind it smooth. It WILL BREAK. It's a KEWL trick! Just learn welding principles before showing folks that DON'T KNOW how to do something, and they all learn your bad habits !!! THANK YOU !!!

Most of not all of these videos are clickbait for guys like us to go and complain and say “DO NOT DO IT THIS WAY.” So many idiot “Content creators” out there showing either unsafe “tips and tricks” or just plain stupid and redundant.

You really shouldn't not the flat of the metal that you bend as it makes it very suspectable to splitting, your weld would hold tho

@@randomguy245 i found out the hard way some central asian/East Mediterranean areas of the world call mild steel "Iron" or "durable iron" seen many arguments about it! 😆

In Italy mild steel (low percentage of carbon) is called “iron”, the alloy with medium percentage of carbon is called “steel” and the alloy with high percentage of carbon is called “cast iron”. The right translations are: Iron: “ferro” Steel: “acciaio” Cast iron: “ghisa”

It was all going good until you started just tacking several welds. The weld itself is poorly done, you can see it easily. plus you grinded the weld that was "gluing it"... I'm glad it was only for demonstration purposes
