In this video, I have discussed my MBA interview experience at Welingkar Institute of Management, also known as WeSchool, covering the Group Activity and Personal Interview (GA-PI) process for 2024.
The process was conducted offline. I have covered all the questions that were asked during the group discussion (group activity/case discussion) and personal interview.

Hey, the first GDPI I gave was Welingkar’s so even I was quite nervous, but that changed once I reached the venue. Talk to people there and make yourself comfortable with the environment you’ll feel more relaxed that way. The panelists are generally very chill, so stay calm and they don’t usually grill you so don’t stress out also the GD topics are easy to comprehend so just enjoy the process. I hope this helps!

Hi, I guess the cutoff for Media & Entertainment is 80 percentile, so you will need at least that to be eligible

Hi Mohit, thank you so much for your kind words. While I'm not familiar with CUET, I can tell you that for CET, your test score matters the most. Tho, if you're aiming for top B-schools, past academic performance does matter

Hi, you will get a call for all the programs. Opting for the core program will be the best choice. When the CET CAP round starts, you can submit your CMAT score, but in my opinion the cutoff for MMS is 99+ so it would be very difficult to convert

Thanks, Welingkar's cutoff for the Core program is 80, so a score of 85+ would be considered safe to convert also, GDPI will be a major deciding factor

Hey Shreyas The PIQ contains only MCQ questions based on personality, or does this also include a WAT question and a tech-based question, as mentioned in some Yt videos? And is it going to be a video conference-based thing or could be attempted anytime in the day?

Hi, The PIQ contains only MCQs based on personality traits. You will be given a time slot, and the link for the test will be provided on the portal. You won’t be monitored while taking the test, but there will be a time limit

Hi, based on your profile, the chances for the core program might be low due to your academic scores. However, a high percentile in CMAT and a strong interview performance will definitely improve your chances

Hi, CV is not mandatory you will need 1. Printout of Application Form 2. Work Experience certificates - if any 3. Certificates related to Extracurricular activities 4. Print out of Score card 5. 10th, 12th & Graduation marksheets 6. Graduation certificate

It depends on two things what other calls you have, and whether you are sure about pursuing an MBA this year or you want to take a gap year

Bro I would suggest you take a gap year You’ll definitely score better. If it were Welingkar Mumbai, then you might have to reconsider. However, for Bengaluru, especially for a non-core program, taking a gap year instead would be a good option

Hi Sagir, If you're aiming to apply to top colleges through CET, you'll need at least a 98+ percentile, and for All India Candidates a 99+ percentile. The Media and Entertainment program is a viable option if you don't currently have a job and are certain you want to pursue MBA this year only However, if your priority is a competitive salary package or a good ROI, this specialization might not be the most advantageous choice. I recommend that you focus on performing well in the CMAT and consider applying for the core program instead

@@nishthamittal4837 The interview will mainly be based on your Work experience (if any)/ previous internships or any position of responsibility held before. Your whole interview will mainly be based on the answers u filled in your application form and would also be asked to explain the panelists about the courses you have opted for in Welingkar. Have a brief understanding about the courses from welingkar’s official website and have a little knowledge about the specialisation u want to pursue in your second year.
