The Foch getting 7.3k and no High Caliber must be furious.

Seeing people defend this tank on instagram and youtube comments saying that people just need to play better against it as a reason not to nerf it is insanity. Reminds me of that woman that said ''have you tried confidence'' ? 🤣🤣

I saw you take one for the team yesterday. Almost nice to see 279e gun miss behave like that. Usualy when i face 279e it snipes cupolas left right and center while bouncing every single fully aimed shot and getting miracle penetration low roll bounces. I actualy think the most effective way to balance 279e would be to cut the mobility and gunhandling. 279e should be in the maus and 60tp class and have top speed no more than 30kph. I always feel like its too fast. It can react too fast to flanking attempts. Ofcourse the obvious nerf would be to make cupola biger and weaker.

Tier 8s thinking tier X is too strong isn't a reason to nerf a tank... otherwise please nerf ALL tier X heavies so tier 8 mediums can pen them too.... 279e needs to get nerfed because it's too strong vs OTHER tier Xs

That was a truly amazing game, that reset at the end to draw it 10/10. Also I lol’d at the score at the end, “hits received: 40, penetrations, 4…”

279e and Chieftain should have Tier X MM only. 10k against Tier VIII Gratz.

The biggest issue of this tank is when you dont have enough pen to do anything to 279e as common for heavy tanks, especially lower tier, the flank you came to is ruined by a single 279e often that has virtually no weak spots.

People should not complain about these nerfs. Even they tryharded to get it. For everyone will be the same. I think is very good for game variety. For me the main point is that tanks are not personally owned, its all in own by WG, including servers and all of tanks. It is not collector thing like stamps. Its just temporary LOAN. So dont spent money and expect u own something. U just spending your money for fun. And Fun doesn't necessarily come from farming weaker tanks. Fun is u just have tank that is good in your hands, whatever tank it is. Have a fun guys.

my problem with Chief and 279 nerfs is gold pene. I hate when I see new tank comming in to game and than - HEAT on new X HT - 300 or 310 instead 340 like on E5 or 277. So for same reason I dislike nerfing pene at these 2 tanks. Not because I love them but because I hate this ballance around gold penetration-

Hi skill, I just mark 279e last saturday but illl do the trick whit the chiff probably.

when you have so much armor that you can just push like a madman and kill every single guy that is not spamming gold or every single tier 8/9 tank that has lower than 320 heats. Fun times... for the 279e player.

I can tell that this tank performed so well because majority of the players didn’t shoot gold. It has about 276mm of armor in the lower part of the hull. If it tries to sidescrape it’s cheeks become less than 240mm. It’s cupolas are about 210mm and not that small. Also - if it tries to raise the hull then it simply can’t shoot because of abysmal 5 degrees of gun depression. So obviously it is not comfortable to shoot gold. But if you do (like you saw in this video with Foch) it can be countered quite nicely.

I remember I got a nice RNG with a Badger once. Pened 5 shots to 279e cupola in a row without gold. He was so furious and rushed me down and died...

It's fun and all when enemies don't shoot gold at you all the time. Bobject is surely strong and ff course it was a well played battle, but half those situations on the battlefield could have much worse outcome if only enemies thought a bit more. I guess you just have to be lucky sometimes and use it as mach as you can. See ya in battles!

My favorite part about 279e ,is me penetrating it ,in front of turret and front of the hull by my e4.

Always wondering how these tanks are makred. 100% battles on it have spg and ofcos all the fucking time stun by stun by stun by stun. Also not even once get ballanced team. Fucking always my 279 is ballanced by monkey team, to this level that enemies just push in 5-8 tanks and allies doing nothing, not even shooting till i die.. P.S. I love how XP is counted.. 920 for 10k+ :D

Arty players: Remember when you see a 279e on the enemy team, focus fire them. Pound them relentlessly. Even if you're not doing a lot of damage. Keep them stunned and frustrated. Because its players like them who got your class gutted and nerfed into the ground. So return the favor.

You do missions for multiple months or even years, and then they nerf the tank. And how many times do you see chieftain or 279 in random battles? Do they really bother you? Do they make your battle unplayable? I'm more concerned about arty, map unbalance and match making unbalance instead of seeing some OP tank anyone can get 1 time in 10 battles. Also battles that last 3 minutes with results 15-1 or 15-5 are ok for you guys? And remember, if they start nerfing reward tanks, there is no stop anymore, black market, assembly shop, battle pass, ranked battles, special events. You will spend time and money to get a reward tank, and later they will nerf it so you will just have that tank in garage taking dust. Instead of nerfing reward tanks, they should add competitor tanks or buff existing tanks.

I hate one thing about nerfed 279e. I was strugling 2 years to complete missions and now they will nerf it. It is so dissapoiting...if it something special like premium tanks and special reward tank it should be on one level. For my opinion.

I think it deserves a nerf, and I hope people who paid Boosting companies to get theirs feel robbed. But I do feel sorry for those that truly ground through the missions - finally get your hands on it and it's nerfed :( If you are a good player, no doubt you'll still perform in it... I'm not, and more or less quit playing around Equipment 2.0!

The 279e is total bullshit. What they need to nerf is the armour. There needs to be more weak spots to pen. It should not be allowed in random battles. It should never go against lower teirs. It's a joke. First, you have to be great to earn it. Then you just roll everyone like superman. It drives people away from the game
