Well Nuts: Installation, Removal & Strength Demo

Жыл бұрынWell Nuts, also called rubber nuts or rawlnuts, are removable rivet nuts comprised of an EPDM Neoprene nut and a brass insert nut. This video demonstrates how to install and remove Well Nuts and an extreme strength test after the installation.

They are especially useful for mounting components to metal without grounding them. My motorcyle uses these to mount the ignition coils to the frame.

strength demo was nice touch, but would like to see the inside of the square tube to show its the well nut and not anything else holding the eyebolt.

Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right: showing the inside of the square tube with the well nut holding the eyebolt is a great idea. We'll make sure to include that in our future videos to provide even more clarity.

is this suitable to use on fiberglass on the interior of my boat. I need a thread insert that I can screw and unscrew every now and then
