Hi everyone, I’ve decided to answer some criticisms that have suggested it is unfair the way we treat our animals. Not sure if “KZfaqrs” are supposed to voice their annoyances or anything other than the pure positivity we are used to online, but just as publishing our life publicly rightly invites judgement, it seems proper also have a response. 🙏 🌟 SUPPORT THE CONTENT ON PATREON 🌟 www.patreon.com/lifeinbamboo Get SURFSHARK VPN at surfshark.deals/BAMBOO Enter promo code BAMBOO for 83% off and 3 extra months for free!

I admire the simple life you live in Rural Thailand far away from the pressures and stresses of urban life. You are a very hard working person....and being a KZfaqr expect anything from people. Unfortunately negativity is rife on social media platforms so try your best to ignore that and enjoy the simple life you live together with your family.

You are literally living our future life. My thai wife & I & our daughter lived in Krabi for a number of years but came back to the UK so our daughter can be educated here. We bought 12 rai of land in Sukhothai & the plan is when our daughter has finished school/Uni in about 7 years time, to retire to Sukhothai & have a small farm, some homestay bungalows & live our best life. I'm learning so much from you about animal care & welfare for future reference. Great channel. Keep up the good work & all the best for the future 👍

Hey mate, living in Thailand and have followed you since you were in GB. You helped me go thru the visa process as we did it about the same time. Living on a farm but mostly fruit trees and bamboo. We don’t do animals but really digging what you’re doing. Keep it up and remember we sometimes learn from mistakes. Too bad some people don’t have the sense to get the full picture before opening their mouths. Have a great, happy and healthy new year 🎉🎊💥

I felt your hurt there. They cut you quite deep this time. I see a hard working man providing for his family and being a worthy shepherd to other vulnerable beings which if you think about it, due to our emotional nature is naturally one of our major responsibilities in this experience. And you're fulfilling that role prophetically.

Thank you for sharing. Some great insights. I live in rural Mexico and some of the daily challenges resonate greatly. Power to you as a man raised in a different culture connecting with the realities of life on the land. This is a time for us to find practical solutions for the transition into a more conscious connection with the nature we are a part of. Permaculture is a big inspiration for me. I'd love to hear more about some of the designs you have been making, and plans for future connection with the community there. It is very well to create a self-sufficient farm, but the only way that is possible is through mutual support and understanding with your neighbours. There have been many concessions made with a local culture that is not very aligned with my own views, yet always with an eye to a deeper connection with the natural cycles of the universe and a harmonious connection with all life. Blessings to you Ryan. You are not alone, brother

When I watch you playing with your so n it takes me back twenty years when we adopted our Thai son here in Thailand. I still look at the photos of the days when he wanted to help me in the garden/jungle. Now twenty one years later he is a credit to my wife and I. I read to him every night before he went to sleep and got him reading himself. He speaks English with an English accent and has won national public speaking contests..There is no doubt hat his English language ability has been the biggest asset for him. Please keep up the good work with your son and concentrate on his reading. He is a bright boy. And keep up with the videos.

It's funny how quickly less ripe bananas seem better. They're just too sweet if you eat a lot of them. I used to massage them through the skin, stick it on a slice of Tesco Wholewheat, cover all that in peanuts, and then another slice. Big peanut-banana sandwich; pretty decent for breakfast.

You are doing well Ryan and you can’t please everyone so it is best to just be you and accept that there is always going to be people who say things that you aren’t happy with. Put it in the negative box and just live your life. As someone says, utubers will always get not so friendly people making comments.

Keep doing what you’re doing and ignore the keyboard warriors. You did a great thing rescuing Misery and by caring for all the other animals. 😊

Couple of things. 1, Most important, Let whoever wants to say something negative let them. It's because they are unhappy in their own lives that they try and grab your attention and bring you into their world. So just let them say what they want and simply, Ignore it. Or thank them for sharing. Maybe by thanking them, they will feel a little love from it. Giving love is better than any other response. 2. Your living how many wish to live. I truly want to live like this. I am currently involved with someone in Thailand and I live in the USA. I've never seen her in person yet our relationship I feel is strong. We are going to be getting married eventually. And I've asked her about us living like this in Thailand. I am 51 years, she is tiny older. When I finally do come to see Sunantha, I would like to come visit you and your family as well and see first hand. What part of Thailand are you in? Are you close to Korat.

Hi Ryan, i was just thinking about what you was saying about the trolls criticism of the animals upbringing and so on. What about if you stopped calling it farming, as none of the animals are eaten or sold for slaughter, would it help if you called it an animal sanctuary for the children and their education. Perhaps they would shut up then. Just a suggestion and definitely not advice as I don't have a clue 😊

I was thinking about this today - the idea of a sanctuary, but then I laughed when I considered that in a zombie apocalypse they would all be eaten.

@@lifeinruralthailand That zombie apocalypse most probably won't happen (and anyway, those trolls go first in that case) so go for the educational sanctuary idea. You could even do online 'lessons' that kids/schools can watch for a small fee. Tis can be the extra teacher.
