I received another package today so decided to do another quick unboxing to ensure everything is as expected. I paid about $367 for the MP5 and the spare mag.
My advice for fellow gel blaster enthusiasts is to always do a recorded unboxing even if you're not posting it on KZfaq. The recording can at times save you all the grief when dodgy sellers decide to shaft you.

Where do you adjust the hop up?

Pull the charging handle back before taking out the mag..can damge the top of the mag..

Will do! I realised my mistake the moment I felt movement when I ejected the mag.

So right tak toys has been good to me but with the Remington snipper blaster that was the worst and they've lost me as a customer so my friends and i will be going else were

I personally have never shopped at Tac Toys but I haven't heard anything good about them at all. Most people bash Tac Toys in the forum and discord (blacklisted in discord). So I guess going elsewhere is a good choice for you and your friends.

How did you go with the custom blaster from gbu. They screwed me over so bad I'm now stuck with a 766 dollar credit I can't make use with

Hi James, so far I've sent it back to them for warranty repair. This was after much back and forth in live chat, emails and finally phone calls. So yeah they made it impossible to get a refund, meaning even they don't want their product back it seems. Did you buy the mystery box too? Or did you get a refund and have store credit? If so, buying a few GBB pistol (not custom will be money well spent).

@@dandoes7764 mine was the metal scar bought from them came faulty and drop shipped from another company and same stuff no matter what I tried I ended up with a store credit. There products and customer service are very poor

Ouch.. that sucks. You'd think it wasn't drop shipped and that they actually have the product and shipped it to you directly after being tested. I know GBU at the very least tested their green gas mags before shipping out but not sure why they don't test their blaster before shipping. I agree, customer service is very poor and even hostile when you say something is wrong with your item. Their default response is, 'you've done something wrong' or 'Auspost issues'. They will never admit they did something wrong. If you want to spend your store credit, you can buy mods and upgrades (sure its more expensive but their rifles prices are over inflated so an alternative is the beretta, 1911 or glock GBBs).

Go tot the ACCC website, they have a quick reference page on this sort of nonsense used by sellers for faulty products. If the product has a major defect, you- the buyer can demand a refund or replacement, and the seller cannot refuse this. There are monetary penalties for sellers that try this nonsense.
