This was Adonis Stevensons last fight. He suffered a brain haemorrhage and almost died. He has thankfully recovered, but obviously will never box again.

8:29 say what you want about Stevenson, he absolutely had one of the best southpaw left hands of all time! Power and precision. This is an older Stevenson here almost knocking out a prime champion.

That should have been a knock down bcuz the ropes had to hold him up. The ref even called the first Adonis knock down a slip. The ref was not good

Fiquei triste pelo Adonis, pois já vi essa "canhota"(esquerda/zurda) levar muitos adversários à lona. Ele não é mais um jovem boxer, e pra ser franco acho até que ele, até o knock out, vinha bem na peleja. Parabéns ao Oleksandr que tbm fez uma luta muito boa, tanto que venceu, né?!

софсем нет, много важных моментов нехватает, не хватает передвижения финтов, не умеет закручивать и с уходом в сторону бить, Гвоздь более прямоленейный боксёр, нет тайминга и характера не хватило в карьере, а главное выносливости и держалки как у Усика ☝️😌

Adonis avoided kovalev for years. I’m glad he fought someone who could stand his power and capitalized on his bad technique. Sad that he had a hemorrhage. Just never fought anyone worth talking about.

Poor technique by Stevenson relying too heavily on the big shots which didn't come often enough. He keeps his hands too low & not using enough foot work to stay on the move-harder to hit a moving target. He has the reach & hitting power but not the finesse in the ring.

@Stephen This is just a stupid statement. Power, speed, technique, stamina - are ALL elements of being a fighter. You lack in any of these elements = you can be a WORSE fighter overall, even if you are better at others. They agreed to fight 12 rounds, not 4 rounds. I get you can claim he's a better brawler, or something like that. But to claim he didn't lose to his opponent is retarded.
