@@Marco-bf4uu , es ist doch nun wirklich nicht annähernd repräsentativ, seine eigene Befindlichkeit zum Maßstab zu machen. Tatsache ist, dass nach Einführung der schwarzen, grünen und bordeauxroten Barette Anfang der 1970er Jahre die anderen Truppengattungen neidisch waren, die weiterhin Schirmmütze und Schiffchen trugen und dass massive Initiativen dieser Truppengattungen dazu führten, dass dann um 1982 die Änderung der Uniform beim Bundespräsidenten als Antrag landete. Und die Ausstattung der Luftwaffen- und Marinesicherer zunächst und dann des gesamten Kommandobereichs CIR vor Kurzem mit Barett zeigt doch, dass der Wunsch nach Schirmmütze und Schiffchen nicht besonders stark ausgeprägt ist. Also, mal bitte auf dem Teppich bleiben!

It‘s worthy to note that the uniforms of the Luftwaffe, Bundesmarine and Gebirgsjäger are EXACTLY the same as those from WW2, minus Nazi details of course ;) P.S. Ach wer sollte die Uniformen denn bezahlen ,das sind doch auffwendige Dinger ,die Musiker und Musikerinen des Musikkorps sollten einfach mal nackig musiziern und besonders gut würde ja auch mal ein Titel aus der Feder von Frank Zappa - so ein Ding wie Bobby Brown- zu einer Militärkapelle passen .Denn klappte den Zuschauern bestimmt die Kinnlade runter ,aber fähig dies Musikstück zu spielen sind die bestimmt weil sie echt gute Musiker sind.

@@ivankaizer5388 that's how it's always done, in the German tradition marches are always cut abruptly when ever needed. You can hear that often when German musikkorps march in. We never ever wait to the end, the music chief cuts it after own feeling and liking, usually in the most abrupt and sharpest way possible.

Stuff and nonsense. The uniforms are designed in the Prussian Feldgrau and the barrets were used by German (not Prussian; GERMAN!) troops in the Napoleonic wars. They’re marching in the marching in the Prussian Gleichschritt (because they are Light Infantry!). Not everything can be Prussian, remember: The Bundeswehr serves ALL of Germany, not just a state which has been dissolved since 1946...

Weil der große Dienstanzug und das Getrampel einfach lächerlich aussieht,ist das verständlich genug,die NVA Uniform hätte das ganze ernsthafter vermittelt.Die Bundeswehr braucht nicht nur eine Reform,sondern eine grundlegende Erneuerung,in Folge die Uniform usw.in Folge wie man sich bewegt!

The NVA was an entire shit show. It would‘ve easily lost against the Bundeswehr and lost all of its German Charm and let it be replaced by Soviet Shit…

@@RandomGuy9 They kept nothing but the uniforms. Even their goose step was not prussian, but the russian style. Their combat strategies and tactics were also russian, while the West German army kept the old german army doctrines and keeps them to this day. The NVA was all show and much better at that then West Germany (which took over the responsebilities of the Nazi regime....something which the East refused), but in the end the NVA was just another russian army with a purely russian mindset and equipment.

@@phil3114 Disagree. 1801 Tzar Paul I introduced Prussian Stechschritt and army regulation to Russian army. So goose step is Prussian, not Russian historically all the way. How much Russian army is missing Auftragstaktik we see today in the Ukraine. If and how much better NVA would have fought is a assumption or argument worth. Agree. With that NVA show was way better. NVA uniform, steel helmet, breeches (Reiterhosen) of late DDR was simply looking great. There was never a better looking German army in history. The tenor drums of the Spielmannszug (1989) were so amazing to simply look at. Their show was so complicated, that no other army even tried to copy it till today. If the Bundeswehr only had taken over those 8 tenor drummers. NVA Parademarsch and DDR Hymne were top notch too. A lot of skill died in 1990. But the people incl soldiers in the west were and are much more happy and content - with reason and that is what counts, and what a Putin will never grab.
