Needed to look Duffy up after hearing what she has been through, had wondered from time to time, what had had happened to her, thinking was she a flash in pan, or been chewed up by the music industry, as with so many artists. So sorry to hear what she has been through, hope she will feel in the right place to make more music, that voice spoken and singing is so beautiful, it would be a shame not hear something new. She hides everything so well in this interview. Being 2011 it has to be VERY fresh in her mind and psyche. That soon after one has to remember how fresh and raw everything still is and would be for a long time to come.

@@nifflofair6685 Well thats a given, but the interview was done not long after the incident happened and posted around the same time... As I pointed out 6 months ago in 2020. And if you want to be techniqual she came went public with it around the end of 2019, give or take a few weeks to a month.

Poignant reflections in wake of her revelation. Beautiful & bright person. I got the impression she grew up fast, exposed to emotionally dysfunctional adults around her. To then later have violence perpetrated on her reminds me that no-one is safe, men & women, from attack.

Third degree? I don't think so! It was a very nice interview, but it would've been better, had I not had to strain to hear the interviewer. Duffy comes across as genuine, unspoilt, cute, lovable, funny and down to earth. Come back Amie Ann, you are missed!

She is coming back after her rape story and will be releasing an interview about an explanation of her absence and hopefully will be releasing a new album as a comeback. 2020 is the year of the comeback.

This must be the last interview before Duffy got kidnapped....and Reappeared Feb 2020 and blogged her story on www.duffywords.com Well she was right about the grammies MANY talented artists always give negative reviews. Grammies do not focus on Talent but Label companies.The sad truth of fame are also residing in Duffy’s heart. So Sad! Just own your Stuff from the beginning not being bullied by labels or Fame.

Honestly, if it happened. There is zero corroborating evidence to back her claims, and Scotland Yard and Interpol cannot track down the man and aircraft in her claims. None of it makes sense at all. If it did happen, she owed it to the public to report to the police right away. She says in another interview that she didn't trust the police, yet she stayed in her own house with her abuser for a week. Honestly, I don't know what to think.

Um I feel like Duffy was drugged so you wouldn't know every detail. She also isn't 100 percent fluent in English as her first language is Welsh. I have heard her make mistakes before and I feel like has trouble with it.@@jimmason8502

Her second album flopped big time. She decided to have time away and she did a couple of films and songs on those soundtracks. I think she had some anxiety about her fame and withdrew from the spotlight.

No see left after getting raped and kidnapped. It messed with her head and for over a decade has been a lost soul. She opened up about it a couple years ago and then disappeared all over again. She didn't write a book or profit on it, she just made two songs unofficial and left again.

In a business synonymous with allegations of replacements, murders, secret societies, abuse, trauma based mind control, conspiracy, rituals etc. There is no surprise in seeing her sounding and acting quite differently in this interview. The whole story is very strange indeed but nothing that you would not expect to find in the very murky world of the celebrity music business.

Whatever happened to this singer, around 8 or 9 years ago she was on tv on the radio, and made a cd called "Rockferry" which contained all her hit singles. But she has been noticeable by her absence since that time.

Gary Dunn Duffy's second album Endlessly, the one she was promoting in this interview, bombed. It was panned by buyers and critics. She went away, but has done bits and pieces in 2 films and sang on soundtracks for them. Her instagram hinted that she was making new music in 2017, but she's been quiet since then. She lived in Kensington and had a fire at her flat in 2012 so maybe she still lives in London.
