Westchester Emergency Medical Services Car 4515, Bedford Hills Fire Department Rescue 10, Engine 199, and Mini Attack 9, Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps Ambulance 65B2, and New York State Police Unit 3K23 responding to a motor vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer versus a school bus on Interstate 684 northbound, south of the Guard Hill Road overpass in Bedford Hills, New York. 45-Medic-2 from the Westchester Emergency Medical Services, along with Car 2032 from the Bedford Hills Fire Department, and Ambulance 65B1 from the Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded to this call, but are not seen in this video. While responding, 60-Control (dispatch) updated Car 2032 that there were no students on the bus, however the driver and a bus monitor were complaining of injuries. He requested to start out a second ambulance as a precaution, however Ambulance 65B2 ended up handling both transports and Ambulance 65B1 was cancelled. Both patients were transported BLS to Westchester Medical Center and the remaining EMS units went back into service. The scene was eventually turned over to the New York State Police and all Bedford Hills units went back into service as well.
