Rebuttal video to answer questions about run out (sorry I kept referring to it as "wobble" in the video).

I just got one of these, no significant runout, BUT the table bends downward with very little pressure on the drill. This causes the holes to be drilled out of vertical. I have had to support the front of the table table with lengths of threaded rod . Now it works fine.

When you first put your bit in. Spin it by hand to make sure it's seated right. Then hand tighten it, turn on press, turn off right away. If everything is still straight, then tighten chuck, but tighten each key hole 1 at a time, like hole 1-30%, 2-30%, 3-30% Then tighten all the way down. Also, get a piece of threaded rod, and a block of wood, for the front of your press plate. This way it will not flex when you put pressure on it

Not sure what your saying or asking. That doesn't look like ant chuck I have seen come with WEN from factory tho.

David Davis the chuck and key are factory. The sanding piece at the beginning is just a sanding drum.

The wobbling you see at about half way in is from me trying to hold the piece with the hand I was also holding the camera phone in. Dumby me didn't clamp the piece like I should have. :-(

Also clamp or bolt based down as wobble of the press can be from vibration. Also be sure and clean the chuck and area it inserts into. That is reason some have chuck fall out and complain on drill presses.
