Bungie: we want to make weapons less powerful, because they are getting to powerful, and it makes encounters too easy. Also Bungie: we are giving you the wendigo, the fastest 1 phase on any raid boss.

Wendigo doesn't defeat bosses, it just deletes them from the game. Gahlran is just trying to choose life.

Was doing it in a fire team last night. We were actually having better progress knocking off from the Corrupted strike and doing pub events in the dreaming city than in blind well 🤷‍♂️ Even at that, I’m only 1/2 way after about three solid hours of work

I woke up yesterday and went on d2 after I would say a 2-3 month break and checked out all the pinnacle weapons the ones standing out to me (for pve) was loaded question, recluse, and wendigo and I had already had some progress towards loaded question so I finished it and grinded I would say 3-4 hours to get wendigo without break and then i got masterwork Hulkeberry and used that build with bottom tree striker for maximum damage and skullfort.

Just to let you know Sweatcicle you don't have to have Wendigo GL3 out in your hand to pick up orbs for the extra damage. You can just pick up the orb and it will go to the gun.

There is a grenade launcher from iron banner when rolled with spike grenades does more dps than wendigo and is void so it gets a bigger buff from tractor cannon

I managed to get Orewing's Maul with spike grenades during the last Iron Banner. It's god-tier in crucible but I didn't expect it to have high boss dps.

The first 6 shots from wendigo actually have higher dps (17k vs15k) but swarm is still better since every shot does the same dmg

Yeah well then it wouldn’t be all Wendigo. And also tractor only gives a 33% debuff to Arc, while melting point gives a 50% debuff to everything. But tractor cannon lasts longer so I see where you’re coming from because the Gahlran kill took some time

Aye @sweatcicle you can kill last boss in 7 seconds if you have 6 warlocks with their own with the bond from leviathan (windgo active)

People talk trash on the Vanguard pinnacle weapons a lot, but they're some of the best PvE weapons in the game. Loaded Question is a monster that only got better with the Fusion Rifle buff. Oxygen SR3 is pretty strong, but it's a Scout Rifle, so not many people care. This video speaks for Wendigo.

I got it the third day into the season, i intended on getting it before the season start though i thought it was gonna be bad cause its a GL. And i thought the buff would be something like 20 or 30% like kill clip. But after i got it i realized how strong the gun was, you need to get it i gotta say its very good and important for the new raid.

It’s not tho. Anarchy with mountaintop does more dps. 150 gl with spike nades do more dmg. And the highest dps is swarm of the raven with spike nades with tractor debuff

Roohni Actually no, Tractor with Explosive light x6 does more DPS than anything in the game. But the damage drops after a few rounds if you don’t have orbs of course.

@@roohni2226 Spike nades are like a 20% damage increase on the bullet alone. If a gun needs another gun to debuff its not the dps king or whatever label you wanna use. Wendigo trashes everything, in the new raid i always do more damage than my team mates, and its cause i got wendigo. Unload quickly find some orbs and repeat. PLus highest dps doesnt mean much if total damage out put is low, like prospector again a clan mate of mine used it on the new boss only crossed 1 mil with all of hes nades, where as i crossed 2 mil with wendigo He may have done that damage in 2.5 secs where it took me 4 secs, but with more than twice the damage out put.

Morten Larsen dude swarm is the highest dps and total dmg gun. Wendigo is very overrated right now. Sure you do higher dmg for the first 6 shots but then what? You need to go search for orbs. It’s really bad in long term cuz it’s only a 120. Hecc mtop anarchy does more dmg than wendigo. Even the vanguard gl with spike does more than wendigo. So please don’t come at me trying to flash that overrated gun around
