That is FOR SURE! Comedy Central (the TV channel) relied heavily on her from in the 1990s-on a number of shows besides standup. A number of comics (e.g., Mary Ellen Hopper) copied her style around that time, but none was able to deliver the way Ms. Liebman did.

What makes her act even better is that from the time she goes on stage Wendy owns the room. Complete unwavering confidence. Comedians can learn a thing or two from her. Just go out there and stare the audience down. Be fearless!
