The fact that they are able to kill off major characters each season and still continue to be such a great show is a testament to how great the writing is.

Beas life was so horribly sad right from the beginning.... Then when she finally gets a bit of happiness with Allie, it again turns to hell for her :( I miss Maxine too. I hope she comes back... Pamela Rabe is feirce. A bloody good actress. All of them are but to play such a psychopathic role like that with the eloquent articulation that The Freak portrays takes Alot of experience

The music is just as good as the show. Great actors, great stories, excellent directors. Deserving of every award and accolade in the world. Exceptional television. Addictive. I know all of these actors from other work, and they all have permanent homes in my heart.

I was all OITNB, and swore off watching Wentworth, then my husband started watching it anyway, and I caught bits of the first episode while cleaning round the house, and I haven't watched a single second of OITNB since! I've rewatched Wentworth several times over instead!

This series has helped me get through some dark times of my own. It truly is a work of art, the diversity, the rawness, it's everything you would want in a prison show and then even more than you could ever imagine. Eat your heart out Hollywood, the Aussies win hands down!!! I'm now watching the show that started Wentworth from the late 70's, called Prisoner: Cell Block H.

I live in the States and I have been addicted since Episode 1. These are amazing actors have brought to life some unique, crazy, lovely and REAL characters. Best drama hands down.

I watched the original back in 1979 with my sis...when I was 10 ( with our nanny ) came across Wentworth by accident..sat my sis down and put Wentworth on and we both binged the first 3 seasons in a weekend...and have watched the last 4 seasons together. Such an amazing show and so much better than any other prison show.

We just finished season 7 last night... I won’t give any spoilers, but, I’m still speechless, especially over the last two episodes, I’ve never cried through entire episodes of any show before or thinking about them the next day. The very last scene of the season left me with chills. This is hands down the best show in the universe. Bravo and thank you to every single person involved in making Wentworth happen! Please bring back Frankie and cameo’s with Bea as much as possible!

It took me a year to watch the original Wentworth, from he 70's to 80's. It is really good and this Wentworth is based off that, even the same character's. You gotta watch it on season downtime. It is call Prisoner Cell Block H Wentworth. So good. There is almost 700 episode's, it was on air for almost 15 yrs.

I'm from Scotland and the amount of times my sister/friends & I have rushed to the the sitting room to tune in to watch Wentworth over the years, I've lost count! I love all of the characters and I think they're all amazing actors & actresses!! I love Wentworth so much!!.... 💖💖💖

I became obsessed with this show!🤪 Must say that I favour this show more than OITNB, personally. (altho OITNB has its own strength & ways in attracting viewers & more diverse). When I started watching Ep.1 in S1, I thought, “ahh this will be just another all female prisoners drama series” Tettt! I was WRONG! When I done Ep.1, I couldnt stop binging till morning! 😅😅 Plot twists in each season were all super brilliant(Congrats production Team!). After Franky Doyle left the institution, never thought that she’d reappeared in WW in the following Season. Then again, when the Top Dog Bea Smith was killed in S.4. Viewers apparently were devastated greatly when the main character Bea Smith is killed, but Then again WW successfully giving a massive shock to its viewers when the ‘Freak’ was the one who escaped & actually buried alive?!😲 S.6 has more actions & new faces gives some ‘fresh air’ to WW, what a very cool approach Writer!😉 Well..Wondering how fast S.7 will aired in Netflix? I just started watching this show a few months ago and I was so impressed with how amazing this women can act and how well and genuine they cry during their takes . It’s amazing. I have a son and my biggest fear is not only losing him but losing him to the war on drugs bc in America it’s so bad I’ve lost so many friends and ppl who I’ve grew up with. I never cry at shows but her take on that was so raw and real it was insane how realistic it was! Amazing actresses all of them are

Anyone in any Country that has not watched Wentworth is missing out on some very fine acting, production, writing and great realism and drama. I have seen every episode of every season quite a few times and it never gets old. Now there are more seasons announced and the trailers look promising. (it's 2020 now!)

I want frankie and bridget to come back but be good to see frankie either as legal aid for the women in prison or correctionals officer and bridget back as psychologist and for maxine to return for chemo to go well and come back into wentworth. Team rita
