Welcome to the 2024 Next-Gen Piston Cup Series here at WeRaceDiecast!
Our content is intended for audiences 13+
2024 Next-Gen Piston Cup Series:
34 Pixar Cars Drivers will compete across 10 different Events in the Next-Gen Series. Each Event will feature a new Track, Layout, or racing style where drivers will compete to earn points. Points will accumulate each Event until the 10th and final Event where a Champion will be crowned.
Event 1: 3 Car Mega Jump
Track: Mega Jump Track
Style of Race: 3 Car Racing Groups
Number of Qualified drivers: 27 of 34
How to Win: Win 3 races before your competitors in your group to move on.
Points: points will be awarded at the end of the event based on the drivers performance and how far they get into the tournament.

Been rooting for bubba since the beginning he'll be back spoilers (he got robbed when his wheels locked, and it's one of the only times they don't turn 180) but it was fun to watch and had a feeling cruise would sneak it she has hella plot armor.

Just remember that McQueen and Cruz are kinda a team. I think McQueen was just trying to avoid Bubba passing Cruz Ramirez. I doubt he cared that he didn’t win. I think he was like, “ Time to let the rookie have spotlight”. After all, McQueen is Cruz’s crew chief.

Long forms I generally have a finish line cam, opted not to use one this time just to keep things simple, as I’m getting back into the swing of long form content. The timer would be nice to have as well, maybe in the future.

Suggestion: doubles tournament, each pair with a "legacy" runner and a "next gen" runner, and the pair that scores the most points wins (McQueen and storm are paired in this tournament)

mcqueen does have the better spoiler with maximum downforce on the rear tire for my traction. But the purple car also has some really nice ones that also push the car down really well. It’s angled, and the tips poke up just a little to intensify it just a little bit more but not too harshly. Besides that I think most of the bodies have a similar structure as well as the same height off the ground

After some crazy racing in the semi-finals and the finals Cruz Ramirez had been very dominant in Event 1 and she finished it in the end and made McQueen proud.

Just curious, how do y'all decide the rankings from 9-27 betweem different groups?

Good question. Its basically based on performance. How many wins, 2nd place, and 3rd place finishes did they get. Tie breakers were decided by how many races did they do, were they eliminated in 4 races or in 7 races. I made judgement calls on a few, but for the most part it ranked out pretty smoothly.

I’d like to do those as well. Think of it like this, the Next-Gen Series is a division of racers. We are going to do a full season of racing with the Next-Gen series, but I’d like to start up other divisions as well. So there will be a Veteran series, a World Grand Prix Series, and possibly 2 other… hopefully things keep going well and we will get to implement them! 💪
