The Ancient Egyptian Civilisation is one of the oldest on record. It is also one the most rich in culture. That culture has produced one of the seven wonders of the world, several UNESCO world heritage sites and with its hieroglyphics, one of the oldest and widely recognised languages.
Despite the abundant information on the life and times of the Ancient Egyptians, there are still some unanswered questions. One of them seeks to find out what racial category they belong to.
In the first installment of her two-part series in Egypt, ARISE News Correspondent Adefemi Akinsanya travels through and beyond Cairo to find out whether the Ancient Egyptians were black.

There is no debate as to the original race and ethnicity of the inhabitants of ancient Kemet (so-called Egypt today) as categorically, indisputably proven by Cheikh Anta Diop and many other reputable scholars (Black and white). They were all black and ruled by blacks (Themselves) until the invasions and mixing by the Heka Khasut (Hyksos) about 3600 years ago, the Greek (332 bce), the Romans (30 BCE), and white Arabs (641 AD - 654 AD). Ancient Kemet (Egypt today) left the evidence of their black identity, race and history engraved in stone, on papyrus, on the walls of the temples, on the statues, in the pyramids, on the Horemakhet (Sphinx), in the language, on the many artifacts, in the art, and their culture. Every other narrative of the identity of the original Egyptians (Kemet) and their achievements is a conspiracy and a bald-faced lie, this is a concerted effort by the collective invaders to steal the legacy and identity of this great and mighty black African civilization that gave civilization to the world. Go ask the Greek philosophers, they will tell you!!! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aKeoY7GFvtetZIU.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jZaogrqWx7y9pqs.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mrh8aah1vMzVfac.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hNOIdLth3d-Wg2w.html

1:38 - "They were dark-skinned but they were not Negro." That statement just proves how pathetically unprepared he was to have this conversation. The term "Negro" literally has no biological basis. It's a term invented to isolate Europeans from Africans and consolidate power for white people. It literally means "Black", and so conflates dark-skinned Africans from all over Africa as a single people even though these people have nothing to do with each other. We have modern Pan-African views, but that doesn't change the fact that Africans are the most diverse people on this earth biologically. Therefore, there is as much difference between Ancient Egyptians and Kushites as there is between Bantu peoples and Nihilotic peoples, as much as there is between Niger-Congo peoples and Khoisan peoples, but the fact is they are all dark-skinned Africans. So, by what logic does he separate Egyptians from other Africans? This man is a joke.

@@sandirichard5461 That's an appeal to authority - it's a logical fallacy. Explain how I'm wrong or say nothing at all. He literally said they were a dark-skinned African people, and then seperated them from other Africans for the flimsy reason that they didn't see themselves as a common people with the other Africans. Well, guess what? No African ethnic group saw themselves as the same as another until recently when white people decided to connect race with skin colour, despite the fact that Africans are the most genetically diverse people on Earth. Let me be as stark as I possibly can be. Europeans, whether they be Greek, Roman, English, Scottish etc. are all considered the same race, even though historically they were bitter enemies who didn't see themselves as a common people (the Greeks referred to the Germanic people as ‘pale savages’). Today, white people have decided to call all these people white, so why not do that with Africa? These people were, by this man's own admission, darks-skinned Africans, there's literally no logical reason to decide they weren't what we would today call Black except to hold on to a white supremacist worldview that seeks to deny that history's greatest empire was a Black empire to the bitter end. Your move.

@@sandirichard5461 He's not wrong by a long shot.. Indigenous Africans are more GENETICALLY DIVERSE than all other humans in the world combined. That's a FACT that's definitely not difficult for anyone to GOOGLE, assuming they want to know THE FACTS. Also, the FACT that INDIGENOUS AFRICANS are more GENETICALLY DIVERSE than all other humans combined means they're also more PHENOTYPE DIVERSE as well. INDIGENOUS AFRICANS can produce every single phenotype that exists within the human race. CAUCASOID'S/CAUCASIANS/WHITE EURASIANS are incapable of producing a Person of Color without having some degree of GENETICALLY DOMINANT BLACK ANCESTRY in their genes. You see, the pineal glands in CAUCASOID'S/CAUCASIANS/WHITE EURASIANS became calcified as a result of their ancestors originating & evolving during an Ice Age. Evolving in that Arctic environment severely limited their ability to produce melanin, which is why their offspring come out LIGHT/BRIGHT/PALE/WHITE or PINK. I remember learning this a long time ago in an African school. People always assume that just because one is African it means that they are all the same. There are different types of indigenous African groups. 1. Semitic people (nilotic) - Lower Egypt/Libya/Ethiopia 2. Hamitic people (nilotic) - Upper Egypt/Lower Kush + East Africa 3. Bantu people - Upper Kush + West + East + Central + Southern Africa 4. Khoisan people - Desert parts of Southern Africa. I think what the old guy was trying to say was that Egypt was not a civilization of the Bantu people. Since most Black Americans, West Indians etc came from Bantu areas he is trying to explain that their ancestors had nothing to do with the founding of the Egyptian civilization. I don't think he was trying to be mean. At its height the Egyptian empire used to be the centre of culture and commerce so it would not have been uncommon to find members of the at least the first 3 groups studying or trading there. And of course later, the Kush got to conquer Egypt.

Blacks had no part in peopling or settling North Africa. If you believe they did, then you're living a false reality. There are hundreds of ancient DNA samples from ancient Egypt, North Africa, and the Sahara Desert going back 15,000 years, and not one of the mtDNA haplogroups has been a sub-Saharan African L lineage. They're all Eurasian haplogroups. No modern sub-Saharan groups resemble who there ancestors were 10,000 years ago because they're all mixed today. The modern Khoisan mixed with Eurasians 3,000 years ago and with invading Bantu less than 1,000 years ago. East Africans have as much as 50% Eurasian DNA, depending on the tribe. East Africans have also mixed with Bantu in the last thousand years or so. The Pygmies are probably the closest to who they were 10,000 years ago, but even they show relatively recent admixture with Eurasians and Bantu. The Bantu are the most recent modern humans to evolve and, West Africa was the last place for the Middle Stone Age to end. There are MSA sites in Senegal that are less than 11,000 years old with stone tools used by Homo erectus. 10,000 years ago the ancestors of Bantu weren't modern human they were Erectus-like archaic hominids. It shows up in your DNA as an archaic Ghost. That's why we know that no other modern humans descend from modern Bantu or sub-Saharan Africans in general.

Population genetic analysis of nuclear DNA On the nuclear level we merged the SNP data of our three ancient individuals with 2,367 modern individuals34,35 and 294 ancient genomes36 and performed PCA on the joined data set. We found the ancient Egyptian samples falling distinct from modern Egyptians, and closer towards Near Eastern and European samples (Fig. 4a, Supplementary Fig. 3, Supplementary Table 5). In contrast, modern Egyptians are shifted towards sub-Saharan African populations. Model-based clustering using ADMIXTURE37 (Fig. 4b, Supplementary Fig. 4) further supports these results and reveals that the three ancient Egyptians differ from modern Egyptians by a relatively larger Near Eastern genetic component, in particular a component found in Neolithic Levantine ancient individuals36 (Fig. 4b). In contrast, a substantially larger sub-Saharan African component, found primarily in West-African Yoruba, is seen in modern Egyptians compared to the ancient samples. In both PCA and ADMIXTURE analyses, we did not find significant differences between the three ancient samples, despite two of them having nuclear contamination estimates over 5%, which indicates no larger impact of modern DNA contamination. We used outgroup f3-statistics38 (Fig. 5a,b) for the ancient and modern Egyptians to measure shared genetic drift with other ancient and modern populations, using Mbuti as outgroup. We find that ancient Egyptians are most closely related to Neolithic and Bronze Age samples in the Levant, as well as to Neolithic Anatolian and European populations (Fig. 5a,b). When comparing this pattern with modern Egyptians, we find that the ancient Egyptians are more closely related to all modern and ancient European populations that we tested (Fig. 5b), likely due to the additional African component in the modern population observed above.

@@dvrmte Ur right. They r closely related to Eurasians. The ancient Africans who left Africa, then returned back were mixed Asian-Africans. --For example "Ghost ancestors are the Balfour indigenous people of north Africa before the Berbers. They were related to the 1st black skinned archaic humans that lived in Europe and in west Asia. They had black skin & wavy hair. Dna studies says no evidence that the present day north Africans decend from the Mechta Afalou. Other Africans hold a connection to these lineages like the Hausa and the Fulani. Nilotic & Hadza always lived above the Sahara: the African hunter gatherers lived as far as Europe. Mistake to think sahara was a barrior to other Africans, Also "3,000-4,000 years ago the 1st whites entering Africa were the Lybyan Berbers & later the Hyksos Semites. @@chasegwop47 I refer to scientific studies, especially DNA research. To prove my point I'll use a new study on ancient Nubians. One of the researchers is David Reich of Harvard. They got the heavyweights for this study. I'll quote the relevant part of the abstract. Sirac et al, 2021 Social stratification without genetic differentiation at the site of Kulubnarti in Christian Period Nubia "The Kulubnarti Nubians had ~43% Nilotic-related ancestry (individual variation between ~36-54%) with the remaining ancestry consistent with being introduced through Egypt and ultimately deriving from an ancestry pool like that found in the Bronze and Iron Age Levant. The Kulubnarti gene pool - shaped over a millennium - harbors disproportionately female-associated West Eurasian-related ancestry. Genetic similarity among individuals from the two cemeteries supports a hypothesis of social division without genetic distinction. Seven pairs of inter-cemetery relatives suggest fluidity between cemetery groups. Present-day Nubians are not directly descended from the Kulubnarti Nubians, attesting to additional genetic input since the Christian Period."

Also the Arabic script borrowed from the Ancient Egyptian heretic script. Egypt ruled the world for thousands of years.Because of that, Egypt influenced many nations just like how Whites have influence the modern world. You can find Pidgin and Creole languages with many Europeans words all over the world because of slavery and colonisation. That doesn’t mean the people who speak those languages are Europeans. A lot of countries use the Latin script but that doesn’t make them descendants of the Ancient Romans.Afro-Brazilian speak Portuguese but that doesn’t make them ethnic Portuguese. When Catholicism was brought to Ghana, Latin was a huge part of mass. That didn’t make us descendants of the Ancient Romans. Dr Zahi Hawas would never believe ancient Egyptians were blacks. He fought that idea through out his career as minister of antiquity in Egypt. In UNESCO 1974, Chek Anta diop and Theophile Obenga proved beyond measures that early ancient Egyptians were blacks. They provided linguistics evidence, human origin in North Africa, anthropological evidence( totemism, kinship, circumcision, cosmogony, social organisation, matriarchy and language). Cheikh Anta diop proved scientifically with his radio carbon lab the genealogy of ancient Egypts especially Rameses III, the density of melanin was unprecedented. The world is not ready to accept that fact but we know it’s true they are BLACKS.

The invading Arabs had no idea that ancient Egyptians were buried so well; as time went on, people learned to dig up the the buried Egyptians, who were saying in multiple ways: "we were black" ; now modern Arab Egyptians will have an eternal fight to maintain their claims of being the first and only Egyptians, when they were just merely invaders. Lets go with Occams Razor, The Egyptian language is still used in the Coptic church and is known as Coptic. The people practicing Coptic christianity too are Copts and are of the Coptic ethnicity, which is distinct from other ethnicities and can only be explained by them being the descendants of the Ancient Egyptians. The term Copt literally comes from Egyptian. Furthermore, apart from the fact they often have Arabic admixture since they were conquered by the Arabs a long time ago, they actually look like the Ancient Egyptians depicted hundreds of years ago. The odds massively stack in favor of Copts being the ancient Egyptians and is also the most obvious explanation. There literally is no chance at all that Egyptians were Sub-Saharan Africans. I mean it says it all in the name, Sub-Saharan. Egypt is not sub, but superior to the Sahara.

There are more Spanish speakers in contemporary Mexico than Spain, Would it make sense for some future historians to claim that Mexicans were the original Spaniards? The max plank institute published DNA results of 4000 year old mummies from Abu Sir. It showed they were Caucasian and were genetically identical to 70% of the whites in London. Less than 1% of the current day occupants of Egypt had any genetic link to those mummies. We also know that King Tuts sister, and daughter of Ackenaten was princess Scotia and she left Egypt with a group of followers and settled a land far to the north, Scotland. Scotland gets it's name from princess Scotia and her Scotia tribe. Ackenaten realized the genetic harm of inbreeding and from that point on, Egyptian royalty married and settled in lands which later became the countries of Europe. That's why most European countries have red, white, and blue in their flags as it comes from the 3 crowns worn by the pharaohs. The white crown of the northern kingdom, the red of the southern, and the blue Crown was a war crown worn by the pharaohs of the United kingdoms of Egypt. The sub Saharan Africans have a genetic "ghost" gene from a yet to be discovered hominid which doesn't show up in people's of north Africa. Technically north Africa should be called the southern Mediterranean!

@@sporo2000I don't understand how ancient dialects factor into any of this but I can tell you that the term "sub Saharan Africa" is not a "silly" term as you say and gas been in use for quite a while since the advent of Geography as a studied and taught science! North Africa is technically the southern Mediterranean as it's ancient people were genetically the same as Europa and east Asia. Sub Saharan Africans had a geographic barrier between them and north Africa, the size of the Continental United States, and it kept any ancient contact between the blacks of sub Saharan Africa and the Aryan people to the north, at a bare minimum. That's why I laugh when I see this blackwashing viewpoint that blacks brought soap to Europeans and when a map is presented to point out the route of this atrocious, laughable, lie, they point a route out from near Libya to Europe. The Libyas, Berbers, Even the guancha from the canary islands, right off the coast of Africa, were all Aryan (Indo-Europeans) and carried the Rhesus negative gene in high ratios. This gene is lacking in sub Saharan Africans. The ancestor of these people of north Africa and Europe was Cro Magnon man, which pops up on the shores of these lands, 30,000+ years ago, bringing with him the use of the bow abd Atlatl and horseback riding, plus animal domestication and agriculture. You can keep believing the TikTok myths that black people lived here and built this and that, all you want but the DNA evidence is grounded in truth. Sub Saharan Africans (blacks) lived in the Stone age as hunter gatherers til outside contact happened. Sorry to break it to you but this living like kings and queens bs is a nonsense. Let's look at the cause of that diversity. You're bragging about being mixed with Eurasians and an Homo Erectus-like hominid. You self-owned. The main reason for the genetic diversity is Eurasian and archaic Ghost admixture you people have. Cole et al, 2020 Ancient Admixture into Africa from the ancestors of non-Africans "We find evidence for substantial migration from the ancestors of present-day Eurasians into African groups between 40 and 70 thousand years ago, predating the divergence of Eastern and Western Eurasian lineages. This event accounts for previously unexplained genetic DIVERSITY in African populations, and supports the existence of novel population substructure in the Late Middle Paleolithic. Our results indicate that our species’ demographic history around the out-of-Africa event is more complex than previously appreciated." Durvasula et al, 2020 Recovering signals of ghost archaic introgression in African populations "Using a method that can identify segments of archaic ancestry without the need for reference archaic genomes, we built genome-wide maps of archaic ancestry in the Yoruba and the Mende populations. Analyses of these maps reveal segments of archaic ancestry at high frequency in these populations that represent potential targets of adaptive introgression. Our results reveal the substantial contribution of archaic ancestry in shaping the gene pool of present-day West African populations."
