NO.........Real fans never want to see the team lose, losers want to see us lose. People who hate Spurs want to see us lose but real Spurs fans never want to see us lose. I'm almost 70 I've seen us win European and domestic trophies and I've seen us get relegated and come straight back up again and be better and win trophies. The losers in that crowd who wanted to see us lose would never go to a game if we ever got relegated again because they're losers they're not fans definately not supporters. The way you guys reacted to City scoring you're not Spurs fans you're just leeches making money off people who are possibly Spurs fans. A draw guaranteed Europa League football a loss leaves it in doubt.

I think AFTER the match, you can say “shame we lost, silver lining but at least Arsenal won’t win the title now”. You cannot, before the match, openly root for the opposition or your team to lose. That is embarrassing. You always want your team to win, before the match, and you make excuses to feel better afterwards

What I don't understand is how before the match a huge chunk of fans wanted to lose. Just look back at the comments in older videos. Yes! What fan would want their team to lose? But this situation was not something that can be easily seen on a regular basis. I think we should be able to look into the hearts of fans who supported the club, not just other people, but implicitly had no choice but to want more of a losing game. From the outside, you might think it's one of those games where you simply win or lose. However, based on their experience as fans who have supported this team for a long time, I think it can be explained that they even predicted what would happen after the game ended. I think fans of all teams in London feel the same way. I think fans who have already loved the team so much for a long time can predict what will happen even after the game, like looking at a chessboard, and know how to handle it in a better way. We can even see what would happen if our captain had scored in that situation. ex) Arsenal's true captain Son, etc. It probably created a situation that would get all kinds of memes and be ridiculed for over 10 years. And I hope you understand that it is not only the players and coaches who have to endure such ridicule, but also the fans who have supported the club for a long time. I would like to ask whether people who simply talk about losing and winning games ignore the history of the fans who share the club's history and culture, and rather think of the fans as tools that only support them. And actually, I think the best way is if Ange had won at least one more game out of that four consecutive losses rather than being dissatisfied with the fans about this situation, the fans wouldn't have been in this situation.

We've had 2 Prima Donna managers at our club for a blink of an eye, who thought they were bigger than the club, contributed to a toxic environment as much as any disgruntled players and committed the sin of butting heads with Mr. Levy, lol. Levy had already decided to part ways with Jose, and didn't want to shell out an extra bonus, should he win a cup on his way out. Which is no doubt deplorable. Conte was really bummed out that getting the players he felt he was stuck with to to buy into his system, was actual work, and his rant was about mentality at the club yes, but definitely from a manager's perspective, ie spending and ambition, which we certainly have been guilty of. Does any of this have anything to do with a one-off situation in which a win of dubious consequence for us hands the scum the league? No.

I think we should move on from this conversation as it’s a bit divisive. Having said that, Ben and Sim are now trying to justify wanting us to lose. Terms like ‘gifting’ and ‘allowing’ are just deflecting. The sad reality is the masochistic fetishisation of arsenal football club. They don’t validate Spurs and we have to change our mentality. Wanting us to lose so they lose is a losers mentality irrelevant of the circumstances. I also think it’s a bit hypocritical to call out Levy for his antics (rightly so) and his loser mentality, then have the same mentality when it comes to Arsenal winning the league. Brains trying not to bite the hand that feeds him…? Waffling! For the record born and raised in Stoke Newington and Tottenham. Spurs fan since ’79!

I only have one concern to raise with you, let's imagine the scenario where Chelsea, West Ham or Crystal Palace in any case another rival Tottenham were to play the title race and we were playing against Arsenal let's say would you go to the stadium in also hoping to lose because you would like one not to win over the other? football logic must take precedence over rivalries we must not concentrate on our opponents otherwise it shows how inferior we are to them but rather play our own game and at the end of the season we evaluate. In another sense if we had given Arsenal the title of course it would have hurt and they would have harped on us about it for a good while maybe for the rest of our lives but on the other hand it would have pushed us to encourage our teams more in such a way. so that we can catch up with them and go for a title of our own, that's a healthy rivalry, not a reality that pushes mediocrity. That's just my opinion

It was never a case of "helping" Arsenal, all that was required of Spurs was NOT to endorse match-fixing suggested by Tottenham fans and bend over to City on purpose... big difference. And thankfully it did not happen, Ange and players tried their best. When the shoe was in the other boot, Arsenal was the only Tottenham rival that beat Leicester both home and away, whilst Chelsea bent over for Leicester and gave the performance of the season in very heated game at the Bridge to end Tottenham's hopes on that 2-horse title race with Leicester 8 years ago. Arse holes apparently have more integrity as a club then both Chelsea and Tottenham put together... and Im not even a Arse holes fan.

I'm actually shocked that this is so divisive. I feel like this 100% football culture and I've never seen this kind of situation cause such a stir. I'm coming at the question like, not "did you want us to lose?", but "don't you at least have mixed feelings about this match??" If the answer is no, it seems largely driven by the nostalgia of very senior fans, or not having been brought up in this rivalry, not wanting to understand or care about what it means. I think the comments bear this out: a lot of people saying Tottenham's fiercest rivalry is meaningless to them. There's your answer. The global appeal as well, means that people who pulled Spurs out of a hat, following a random team in the now Premier League era, have no connection or personal investment, compared to kids who grew up giving and receiving bloody noses on the playground over football allegiance lol... So back off everyone, recognise people's different backgrounds, where they're coming from, acknowledge that this is a different animal than alot of people are used to in sports, and agree to disagree.
