Seeing _Raft Wars_ getting some love it truly deserves really makes me missed FRIV so much. The Internet wouldn't be as magical if it wasn't for the Flash games.

Agreed. As crap as they could be at times, that was part of its shtick that it was often utilized by a lot of newbies but that also gave them a special effort because there were more jokes and personal touches that paid for games rarely have. They were THE ultimate indie games. Thankfully indie exists still and hopefully overcome the bs with Unity. Maybe even one day be as fun as those bull bush games he showed. I think even if not played much everyone def took notice of them 😂 impossible not to. Ik I rat ly tried them if ever but DEF remember seeing them. 😂😂

I remember my father playing Miniclip on the home pc one day. He was playing mini golf and he showed me how to play and later I got hooked on Miniclip and other flash games. My all time favourite flash game being Super Mario 63. Basically it’s a combination of 2d Mario with SM64, Sunshine and Galaxy in one game. If you haven’t played it yet. I recommend it, if it’s still available to play.

Kinda sad he didn’t shout out the Nitrome games, but yeah, old miniclip was the shit. I’d be up to like 10 or 11 on a weekend with a brick of a monitor playing raft wars or some random Nitrome game.

Nitrome didnt delete their games, THANK GOD. They even updated some of their games to HTML5. God bless Nitrome.

Mini Clip 😢 but di Ya'll remember Coffee Break Arcade? It had some amazing games, like the fish tank game where you have to raise your fish and feed them so they grow and you have to protect them from incoming threats (other mean sea creatures). Ahh the memories!

I loved the raft wars games. The plot is funny too. Some kids find buried treasure, and so naturally pirates, Vikings, bikers, and your neighbors try to get the treasure.

I haven't heard of any of these except for Raft Wars. But the mini clip homepage when you went to the way back machine was really cool to see again. I also loved Raft wars as a kid! Sometimes I play it in class when I have nothing to do. Great video though.

Did anyone use to play Cyclomaniacs this game where you were on a bike and you gotta race 10 other bots to the finish. You'd unlock new bikers to finish levels in, and it was so much fun playing it at school on the computers. The computers never kept the memory, so sadly, I had to restart the whole game every time, but I didn't care it was a challenge to beat it in one go at free computer time. Also, the soundtrack for the game is extremely nostalgic if you have memories of this game.🙌👏

I don't know if it's just me, but KZfaq used to show the other channels (in a tab) that creators ran. I'm already subscribed to Talentless Gamer and Talentless Talks, but I'm not sure how someone would find them today. (Except when they are mentioned in a video like this one.) BTW, I agree that a lot of the less polished/older games have more soul.
