This is a model interviewer: prepared, knowledgeable, has watched his films, knows his style, asks pointed questions, knows when to stop talking and listen, actively listens, engages fluidly, comes across enthusiastic and genuine, no agenda other than creating a healthy and lively environment for all, and respectful. All in one is fairly rare. As a result I'm now a subscriber

Man, this is amazing. All the movies that Wes and Jason have made have meant so much to me. If I am ever famous or whatever I will beg and plead to be in one of their movies. Because I know that anything they do will be amazing. The Darjeeling taught me to let go and love my brother, The Life Aquatic, taught me to accept my faults and love my friends, The Royal Tenebaums was loving and forgiving family, Rushmore was love and friendship, and Bottlerocket was trust and brotherhood. Simply Amazing!

I find it crazy that these two are such good friends. Wes is so shy and socially awkward and Jason is so outward talkative. I know people don't have to be the same kind of people to be friends but these two just don't seem like they could hang out together and it not be weird..

say what you will, Anderson has changed independent filmmaking the way Kubrick changed intelligent filmmaking. Before "Rushmore" and "The Royal Tenenbaums", there weren't films about high school outsiders and dysfunctional families; there's nothing but Coen Brothers, Tarantino, and Anderson (both of them) influenced films.

What about Jane? She was an object of desire. He wanted to talk to her, and in the beginning of the book she was all Holden could think about. Of course, that might just be because of her date with Stradlater. But the thing about Catcher in the Rye, it was about a boy who was not working to his potential in school because he didn't give a shit. Rushmore is about a boy that did to much aimed to high and loved the school for what it was beyond the classroom.

Why does everyone think the interviewer is so good? I think he is more trying to show off his research than trying to focus on the question and make a great interview. And he is repeatedly awkward, and I think you can that Wes and Jason don't appreciate a lot of his questions.

I hate his film style and can't stand his movies in general for no particular reason. But he definetelly makes movies that click with a lot of people, im just not one of them. Maybe all the really pretentious hipsters that I have met, may be part of the reason why I cant stand his work. Not saying that his films are pretentious though.
