This short piece of music is extracted from the ending credits of Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, which was released ten years after the original Elm Street film! While the score was released years ago, the end credits portion was never included. So I took a portion of it from the credits for a fun listen!

I don't understand why I hear the phrase" this is one of the weaker ones in the franchise" when everyone I've asked and myself included love this film, such an amazing soundtrack as well

Blame that on Robert Englund getting too old for the role and Jackie what's his name just wasn't a good substitute .

This part of the score was never officially released, so I took part of this from the end credits and uploaded it for a little bit of nostalgia! EDIT: I was informed by an article that the entire score in a CD collection with the first eight films WAS released in 2015, including music from the film that wasn’t in the official release in the 90s. However, it was unfortunately a limited edition release, so it isn’t available on KZfaq. It because Freddy dead the final was so bad this movie was a better ending to the original series. Not a good movie. Yet better then what I expected

Funky bass line fa'sho! I never noticed before, but watching the credits roll in the film, when the chords become more dissonant around the half-minute mark, it lines up with Robert Englund's name coming on screen. Don't know if that was intentional, but it's great timing.
