If you want a shadow it all depends on where you place the light it should cast a shadow of the blend mode is on masque not translucent.

Yo, I love this process! I do have a question though. I've noticed that when I switch the Blend Mode in the Material from Masked to Translucent, the image plane doesn't cast shadows anymore. do you have a solution for this? Thanks and keep the kids coming!

Not really translucent is better quality but it doesn’t cast shadows. So what I do is any shots I need to show shadows I just keep it masked.
