The Pi Blockchain is here! While it's just in testnet, huge things are coming for the future of Pi.
For anyone else like me who was curious, skeptical, and even a bit unsure as to the promise and future of Pi, the release of the blockchain in testnet means some big things are coming. While the Test-Pi is not currently worth anything, this allows for anyone running a node to try out Pi wallets in testnet to see how it'll all work and to contribute to the scale and and quality assurance testing.

Me to . My friend she told me about it and now I have a few hundred Pi and my 6 year old son has the same thing. I have a seriously question. I made some good money with gamestop stock and still have a few stocks I held on to. But if you had $3000 to put into some more stocks what would you put it into. I been doing a bunch of research and watching videos but I'm taking a chance asking. I would really appreciate it and I watch a lot of your videos and you give some really good advice and your not like all the other youtubers that just want you to sign up for the course they are doing lol

That’s correct. Exactly what I was mentioning in another comment. Pi is truly the first crypto to build a market and user base first and technology second. Nearly every other crypto is the opposite. Which makes this very interesting as an experiment.

I like that the First 4 numbers are shown, rather than the Last 4. Of course the 1st 4 could look like several duplicates, especially as the community grows, but it feels more secure.

All the public keys start with G, it's the standard for stellar core and the same for xlm. The private keys are called "secret key" and they start with S. The second letter of the public key is always A B C or D. Any keypair could be valid for pi or stellar but the ledger doesn't recognise it until it's been funded by another account which for Pi is the faucet. The wallet will only send to funded accounts. fun fact: the transaction fee on pi is 1000x stellar transaction fee.

Hi Wes, just out of curiosity roughly how much Pi have you earned so far and do you have a big earning team? Also, did you start late yourself or in the early days back in 2019? I imagine the videos you have made so far on Pi have made a huge positive difference in getting people on board the project and has helped bring it more and more out of obscurity. Many thanks.

That was a spammer. They seem to be endless. My videos on Pi have definitely been popular. Since I started mining I have invited 1500 pioneers and I have about 60k pi. Glad the videos have been able to generate popularity for sure.

Wes Spencer that’s pretty good achievement. I’ve been at it for well over a year and only got around 7K myself. I take you you started on it only recently? I’m a bit jealous of you big Pi earners 😅 but I’m honestly grateful for the little I have really. The only thing which concerns me however, and it’s a legitimate concern, is that what if there’s a limit to the number of Pi coins minted? Because there are some people who legitimately happen to have hundreds of thousands of Pi already. One crypto KZfaq vlogger, who seems to be a totally legit and honest guy, has over half a million Pi already. By the way he’s the only other person I asked the same question as to how much Pi has been earned through KZfaq vlogging. While you’re the first person I’m sharing this thought with so far. Over time, notwithstanding the milestone halvings as well as perhaps a few fake accounts or drop outs here and there who don’t pass KYC, such pioneers may reach well over a million Pi, if not millions. Now of course it’s actually none of my business how much Pi other people have but I’m just concerned about how this effects the amount of Pi being minted in total and the potential value Pi can gain. There are currently nearly 15M pioneers and the mining rate graph shows that it could potentially stop at 1 billion members. Does that means trillions of Pi coins being minted? Sounds absurd right? Yet Bitcoin apparently has a limit set for 21M coins. Do you happen to know if there is any way of finding out how the Pi team will take all this into consideration? Because if I’ll be honest it is pointless trying to contact them to get a reply as they never seem to respond to enquiries even though they provide us with a means to do so. Kind regards.
