What are West Africa & East Africa Differences? Why Diasporans/African Americans Love West Africa more than east Africa and are moving to west Africa more is what we're talking about in this video
East and West Africa may be on the same continent, just five hours flight from each other, and with complementary economies that would make it natural enough for a high level of interaction. But, in reality, they are virtually cut off from one another.
WESTERN AFRICA, region of the western African continent comprising the countries of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cabo Verde, Chad, Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
While EASTERN AFRICA countries (19) - Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Réunion, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Somaliland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

All the slaves were not brought to Ghana before traveling to America ; After Mauritania ,Benin republic is the second country in west africa and even Africa more affected by the ebony trade;before going to America they are brought to Senegal (Gorée which is an island;it was difficult for the slave to run away ) ;Apart from Nigeria ,EAst africa is more developpedthan west Africa; Real estate in Ghana is just crazy, the currency is too high and people are struggling because life is too expensive there ;by the way , Éwé is spoken only in Ghana and Togo and Mina is spoken in Togo and Benin

Nobody speaks Éwé in Benin but only Mina and there other languages close to Mina like Xwla,Adja,Watchi,Pedah and Sahoué

Fun Fact: Do you know that Slave trade in Africa started in East Africa? Yeah you ought to know that. Its only that most slaves were taken to Arab countries moreso Oman. Because those were the first settlers. That led to the Swahili language being born.

You're right about West African women with their wigs and Make ups but i don't really know about East and Southern Africans

as a kenyan who lived in south africa for 10yrs, there is every nationality from Africa living there and we could recognise west african women by their wigs and heavy make up east african and souther african women like braids or natural hair more and have minimal makeup no offense
