CU. Football (title super over) SV. West Bromwich Albion dressed in striped shirts running out onto the field. SV. Billy Wright tossing up with Captain of WBA. SV. Massed crowds cheering. GV. W.B.A. kick off and attack up the left wing, but the Wolves take possession and kick upfield. SV. Billy Wright kicks upfield. The ball is received by an Albion player, he kicks ball back again upfield. SV. Albion player running goalwards with ball, he shoots for goalie Williams to save. Bert Williams runs and clears upfield. LV. Jimmy Mullen dribbling away from an Albion player, but he is intercepted by Dudley and Mullen again takes possession on the left wing, and centres ball. Ron Flowers and Griffin go for the ball but the ball goes wide and is collected by an Albion player who attacks upfield. GV. W.B.A. attacking. Maurice Setters receives the ball, he lobs it over to left winger George Lee who receives it, he shoots and the ball goes in the net, pan to crowd cheering. (Score W.B.A. 1 - Wolves 0.) SCU.Pan: Ray Barlow running goalwards with ball. He shoots. The ball is partially saved by goalie Williams but the ball carries on and goes just wide of the goal post. Stewart runs up to scoop the ball from goal-line to save a corner. He continues running with the ball and kicks upfield. CU. Johnny Hancock on the right wing, passes ball to centre for Eddie 'Chopper' Clamp to receive. Clamp runs forward with ball in front of goalmouth, he lobs the ball for team-mate Flowers to rush up and try to score, but goalie Sanders reaches the ball to clear. LV. Pan W.B.A. attacking upfield. Griffin receives the ball and heads it forward, but Bill Shorthouse goes after it chased by Griffin. Griffin takes possession and runs goalwards dribbling with ball, closely chased by Shorthouse. SV. Griffin shoots and the ball goes straight in the net. (Score W.B.A. 2 - Wolves 0.) Crowds cheering. (HALF TIME).
GV. West Bromwich Albion attacking upfield. The ball is passed forward to WBA team-mate, but he is intercepted by Stewart. Stewart slips and Bill Slater runs to collect ball. He clears himself from an Albion player and kicks upfield. SV. Kids cheering. LV. Booth shoots goalwards, the ball hits goalie Sanders, rebounds from Sanders and at the same time Colin Booth again shoots at goal, but Len Millard rushes in and saves the ball from going into the goal. SV. Man in crowd gesticulating. LV. Lead up to the Wolves only goal. Bill Slater receives ball in front of goalmouth, he shoots and the ball in the net, pan to crowds cheering.
