Although Meridian's offense improved in the third quarter, West Central matched their efforts, maintaining a 49-35 lead heading into the final period.
In a dominant display, the West Central Cougars limited the Bobcats to just 8 points in the fourth quarter, securing their first-ever boys' basketball state championship with a final score of 62-43.
