Listening to this almost 30 years later, there are memories of people gone but not forgotten, and places frequented where there was laughter and tears were shed. Loved ones back then said 'if you carry on like that you'll lose everything and have nothing left" I never thought it would all end. But that it would last forever, an endless party.

Love the piano at the start then it kicks in just awesome Sybil on the vocals is something else.Just a gem and still sounds brilliant in 2020 and forgot to say it was a massive club hit when it came out and stayed in the club charts for a long time.

I remember one of the best dancers I've ever seen dancing to this back one cold Saturday night/Sunday morning in march 1993, at a club called Henry's which was notoriously rough in a city in northern England. She was actually a librarian and would be 45-50 now, amazing how individual events can stay with you for ever..

Now, how badass is Sybil? I remember hearing "Don't Make Me Over" from Sybil... Sybil is extremely underrated... I'm just now discovering this song ... She is exquisite... But reading about her career she definitely went viral everywhere with her album "Walk On By"... She is right up there with my girl Cece Peniston... Powerful vocals, strong dance beats, and the break downs with the vocal on top of piano xhords... And judging from this version "WEST END'S" version is better than the original... Beautiful arrangement !! I was a boy when this song was recorded in 1973 by Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes and was very successful at that time. I remember that my father (RIP) played a lot in his rehearsals as a "home DJ". I miss that time very much. The world seemed happier. Congratulations on the interpretation and the remix that was made. They were great and much more dancing, highlighting the richness of styles and musical taste typical of the 90's.

The music out there just hasnt been the same since we have heard all these Great Singers like Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, Diane Ross..and so many more .their voices was pure Gold..It was for me a sad day when Motown studios closed down in Detroit..they did move to somewhere else for a while..wasnt it Diane Ross hubby that owned it then.... but as far as I'm concerned Soul & Motown still lives in my life..🤩🤗

After 1997 music died. 1975 -1997 music at its best. Sybil's song was written by the inventors of British Eurobeat. That was really a beautiful music. Until house came and killed everything. House effects were beautiful, but house is not music.
