I do miss the old days when we used to all have a break from proceedings but at least it's nice to get back to the real footie. It's all about the beautiful game and we need to quickly replace the wonderful Lanzini, who I guess was such an inspiration to many of the other players, especially on the training ground. Time now for some of the players to start to show their true character in the absence of Dec's, who's busy showing a London rival what a European medal look's like. And will the new captain of the club..... "Please step forward" COYI!

People need to realise how big west ham are. We won 3x fa cups and 2 European cups. Who cares if we don’t have a league title? We have a world cup instead. Gor Blimey... When you see all the monotonous training our boys have to go through it makes you glad that you're not a footballer!!! I think that I would have preferred it back in the 80's!!! Maybe they're worth the money after all and only gutted that the old Ford's ground wasn't West Ham when I was passing it every weekday morning (and afternoon) on the 87 bus going to and from Barking College (30 plus years ago!!!). So pleased we're there now!!! Come On You Irons!!! Good Luck for the new season from everyone in East London and Essex!!! Lee :-)

Response to Zouma: Irooons...Captaincy/VC between Zou and Bowen for me. Whoever wears the armband, I don't mind, but they are two big players for us next season on the pitch. Go out and get Phillip Billing and Johnathon David, please. And like the Rihanna song goes.. Antonio, I wan't you to stayyyy. Sign a new contract MA. Hopefully, get Zakaria over the line as well. @@damiandamico4715 Nevin and Nolan were on set plays and Moyes took them off warbarton and Moyes had different philosophies which is why they fell out come back to me when we’re bottom after 5 games with 0 points plus Moyes didn’t listen to his backroom staff didn’t let them have a say
