After 3 amazing days riding the magnificent Silver Lake Dunes, we continued our migration up north along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Our next destination was also eagerly awaited.
When mapping out our itinerary, Jeff was adamant about reaching Traverse City during the first week of July, as it coincided with the renowned Cherry Festival in town. As the saying goes, sometimes wishes have a way of coming true-perhaps more than we bargained for. But the area itself was amazing. Grand Traverse Bay truly shines as a jewel within the Great Lakes region, captivating visitors with its harmonious mix of stunning natural vistas, abundant outdoor activities, and the warm embrace of small-town allure. Convinced by the glorious reviews, we eagerly planned an eight-day escape to this idyllic haven, carefully selecting the perfect campground for our stay. Our discerning choice led us to Indigo Bluffs RV Park & Resort, and from the moment we arrived, it was evident that we had made a wise decision.
