This 100% GoPro short film follows 3 mates looking to break the mold of a regular weekend. Skiing the terrain that the road west of Wanaka offers them.

I know that road well, September 2002, I crashed off that road into the lake. Fell about 15-20m into the water in my 1984 Subaru Leone. Managed to get to the road after some sketchy climbing and that was the first & last time I drove that road! :)

Wow, this is so sick. i've always sort of day dreamed about riding those peaks off the Haast Pass. There must be some amazing terrain out there that gets constant deep powder with the amount of precipitation that's dumped over on the Coast. Mad drone flying skills too.
