Very nice Pete. Was great you filmed the AC both ways as well. Coincidence or what !! I also filmed 66779 on 4E04 today nearer its start point. Thanks for sharing Pete, take care, Colin.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Colin. Wasn't going to miss it for the world, lol. And I only just managed to catch 779, too. As my train was at the side of me, lol. But definitely a coincidence, Colin. Keep safe mate

Lovely to see Donny at night Pete, memories of being kicked off when we had stayed too long on the platforms saying the ticket time had run out. As an aside April issue of Traction Magazine has a 6-page article on Mexborough in the diesel era, very interesting reading for me as i had left the area at the end of the 50s so never saw the oily monsters appearing in the area.

Thanks, Roy. I've not filmed at night there for a long while. So it was a no-brainer to get the return leg. I'll have to look out for a copy of that magazine, be good to have a look at that. Cheers Roy

Thanks a lot Pete, I noticed you were completely the other side of the Station to me, no wonder i didn’t see you. 86259 The Whitby Flyer, at this minute is in York Parcel Sidings, if anyone missed it yesterday, though for how long who knows.

Lovely video again Pete. I remember looking through the Paint shop windows from the top of the wall and seeing the Electrics, I was gobsmacked, last thing I thought I would see in the paint shops. I also remember the class 37/s numbered D6600 onwards being in the works new, but I don't think they built them there. Always on a Sunday when we would sneak round at the very top from the part near the cricket ground. They were the days.

Fantastic insight there, Ernest, on a bit of Doncaster plant history. It's amazing what that place turned out since it's build. And to what it is now!!!!! I personally can remember the 56's and 58s coming out of there, and seeing the romainian 56's coming. Happy day's

Nice catch Pete, I was on 66171 that came through with 4E08 for Wakefield just after the 86 went north, I saw it catching me up in the mirror as I approached the station.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, mate. I saw 171, too, but I couldn't get a shot. Now that must have been a great shot seeing that coming up at you in the mirror mate 👍
