The West Rim Traim offers epic views of surrounding formations from the high plateau in Zion National Park. It ends with a steep descent into Zion Canyon. Although the plateau is level, this can be a difficult hike due to the nearly constant exposure. Weather conditions will matter to day hikers and backpackers. As you near the valley, there are ledge-cut trails that offer the thrill-seeking adventurer some excitement and friends with vertigo heart-pounding fear as you descend into views of Angel's Landing and the canyon floor.
