West Roseville neighbors express concern for controversial proposed business park | To The Point

Some homeowners in West Roseville's Winding Creek community are concerned about a proposed project near their homes.
Earlier this year, homeowners were given information about the proposed Roseville Industrial Park project. According to some, they got a half-sheet of paper in the mail from the city with information on the proposal and the city telling people they could email them if they had concerns.

This idea requires an Airport, freeway and massive ED. This is not a logical community development plan

This is why baseline is so hammered so they could build all those new houses... Baseline was freshly repaved like 10 years ago too... As population has boomed, it's still only 2 lanes... Developers get rich, the city increases is tax revenue, and our cars suspensions get destroyed from driving on the roads

They are building houses so close together literally five feet apart in some areas just so they can make more money by selling more houses in one lot.

Would building this trucking complex next to a residential area lower the value of the homes. I wouldn't want to move next to that.

Well it depends. Having that big of a facility could attract new workers to the area and encourage the buying of houses in the area.

I work for a service where I drive on Blue Oaks and Fiddyment all day during the week. Those construction tractor trailers drive so recklessly. They speed , cut cars off and a couple of times their trailer brake lights were not connected and I almost crashed into the back of them. They are relentlessly aggressive and poorly maintained. Someone will die if they don't stop

I always thought west Roseville would be more industrial. It's out there with tons of undeveloped land.

Why not put it out by McClellan which is as far west as possible where an industrial dirty park can go.

The two women who are talking about how it's important to do this in partnership with the neighborhood are just b*********** you. They're gonna put it in it's gonna go in and it's gonna be built.
