I loved that the movie was dark it IS ABOUT GANG MEMBERS. It’s realistic. Tony was the leader of the gang but in the original he’s so milktoast it’s hard to believe he would have been the leader of a gang. In the new version it makes sense. I love the old version as well, but this was more of a drama with music which I didn’t mind. Just my opinion.

YES! OG Tony did not seem like he could get down with the Jets. Whereas Ansels Tony seemed more dark and disturbed by his past

Such a marvelous movie & cast!!! They all are extremelly talented and IT SHOWS in the film. Spielberg never dissapoints! This is an instant Classic

This did not have the magic of Robert Wise Jerome Robbins production this was all depressing a dark movie. The Exchange between the two girls was the only thing it was done right

When was this interview filmed? If it was like a month ago then I'm impressed with Rachel acting totally fine with Ansel. Considering ya know, she is hating on him now.

@@ieasliygetaddicted3531 basically everyone has their knickers in a twist because when he was single and 21 / 22, he sexted a fan when she was 17. They dated, she consented, but then she released a tweet in 2020 saying he assaulted her. Long story short that is.
