Good to see a working turntable still being used! Far too many of them were cut up for scrap in the late 60's!

I'm sorry for the delay in replying. I've been away on holiday. The answer to your question is, "I don't know!" I'm afraid. If that was the case, they would have had to turn it also at Bishops Lydeard. They certainly were not turning in the station so the likely answer is no. The only possibility is that they were using the triangle beyond Bishops Lydeard but I don't think that was the case. Can anyone else throw light on this?

Re the turning of Brittania on your video west somerset railway gala they did it on the turntable see around the 15 minute mark as you filmed her on the turntable.
