So jealous. Up here in the far northeast (Newfoundland), the variety is nothing comparable to this, not during the winter months anyway. What I also noticed however were the 4 species we do share (northern flicker, pine siskin, dark eyed junco & ruby crowned kinglet) that says a lot about how far and wide some species have proliferated and the wide range of environments they're thriving in.

Interesting seeing that red shafted Northern flicker. I have an occasional yellow shafted here in Delaware. And some of the birds on the suet are very aggressive! Thanks for posting.

Absolutely, stunning! So many species that I don’t see here in Canada. A few I do see in the breeding season. The Lazuli bunting and canyon towhee are especially pleasing. The close-up of the turkey was unexpected and amusing. Thank you for an informative video. Seems like a great place to go birding.

So glad to see my Western Tanager and black headed grosbeak friends while they are in their winter home. Can't wait to see my friends back in the spring. Bullock orioles too. See you soon my dear friends.

What a wonderful collection of birds! I've only seen a few of them where I live in Central Florida, and in a recent trip out West, like the bushtit and pine siskin. We have one western tanager that visits the county every year, but almost all the rest would be lifers. This location must be well-chosen.

I live in the Davis Mountains and some of the these birds only visit during mating season. We try to keep the feeders full, especially when it's cold. We have lots of birdie visitors year round.

Lovely video, and so informative. Thank you from England. Roughly how many 'slabs' of food do you/they get through a day, please? I can imagine it varies depending on season (birds at my feeders eat perhaps 2 fat balls a day now, but in late spring it was 25 per day).

So beautiful! Such bird is beautiful and unique in its own special way! 0:07 is that a female hovering that the male was aggressive towards her? I love the flight skills! I like to pause the video at areas where the birds are in flight and the picture is BEAUTIFUL! Love how they hover. And WHOA what a strong peck the woodpecker gave at the scrub jay 4:26!

I lived in Alpine (25 miles south) for 10 years and would have a rufous hummer winter over each year, arriving in about September). I spied your hummer in this video...what kind was it?

Wow! Thank you! Would y'all please identify the birds visiting the suet feeder, and when the hummingbirds are there? I am not on Twitter. Also, could the host move the feeder to the left a bit, so that we can see better the activity down the hill? If not, I am very pleased to see the birds on the KZfaq channel.
