The linebacker room will be the strongest part of the defense in my opinion. With the return of Latham and Josiah Trotter being healthy. With the younger guys having more experience than last season. It will be a handful!

Now hold on WVU opponents win loss last year was ranked 3rd behind South Carolina and Michigan state . And WVU sos in any site you can find is at least top 40. Was their schedule that bad ? Don’t forget WVU led ncaa in rushing as a power 5 team . And didn’t give up many sacks , I think 5 all year . To go along with we led the big 12 in sacks . I hear a lot of people still not giving WVU any love. Well the 2 big boys are gone to the sec. Even though we had a winning record and always competed vs Texas . And we let some real tragedy’s slip through our hands vs Oklahoma . Back to this year , I think you are going to be surprised . Our offense will be much improved with 2 running backs that are household names gaining a year of experience . Our offensive line has another first round projection and 3 big boys with plenty of depth ready to lead that running attack with a freshman and a sophomore at rb last year that got even better over the off season . Don’t forget our qb missed 3 games and still ran for 800 yards .. our wide receivers were all babies. They are now older . WVU is dangerous

First of all, RIP to Blue and Gold Dude... I believe that West Virginia will win more than 6 games this season but the Big 12 has gotten vastly better with Utah, Colorado, and the Arizona Schools.. West Virginia is probably a 4 to 5 win team in a real conference and we forget that Neal Brown is a bad coach, but since they have a group of 5 schedule they should have a decent record. They are lucky to have at least 1 guaranteed win since they get to play kansas!
