Wife and I do the same thing as yall and we're taking a trip down there from Uniontown Pennsylvania here Labor Day weekend with our boat to get into some Catfish. We've never caught Blues yet, lots and lots of Flatheads though. How is the water on the Kanawha River this time of year?

Make sure the west Virginia protects your rivers against james reed. He built a paylake in reedsville Ohio. I'm sure he is targeting the Ohio river in that area for fish

Enjoy your vids. We pass each other on the James fairly often. If you have a chance search you tube for james river catfish adventures. My PB is 91.6 lbs. just landed 2nd largest Saturday. 88 lbs. I’ve got some footage up now.
